@Ken - Tesla had a pretty big hit with their version of "Signs" back in the day.
  9:22am yayson:

Cecile: it's a must see for those of us turned on by the voice of purity and innocence exposing herself...
  9:56am MIchael:

I like it---then again I grew up with Martyn Green's voice, and like it, and Ms ANdrews is at least on key. As for a creator's horror, I basically don't care, Moondog's being safe from all cares now---"Watchman" is a good movie, and "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" a good _terrible_ movie, despite what Mr Moore may think---I don't pay attention to soi-disant wizards anyway.

SOB movie ain't so good. One of the tangents: In a Julie profile, 60 Minutes showed the infamous clip uncensored, and caught predictable trouble for it. Mike Wallace claimed to be at a loss to understand why it should be a problem.

this is great.

The stream is, Kenzo.
  10:10am Lizardner Dave:

The playlist is actually about 3 songs ahead of what I'm hearing on the Windows stream, or am I just buffered and behind? We just got new machines at the office with Windows 7 and all kinds of weird shit keeps happening.

dcp, I ended up knocking off two holidays in one last night. My husband got a coupon for a free bottle of wine with dinner at an Irish pub. So we took care of Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's. And placed 2nd in trivia.

they do have nachos. So next year nachos at the Irish bar on February 14! LOL.
  10:43am Detroit Mac:

I don't like the misfits since I was constantly kicked in the head by crowd surfers at the Warped Tour.

Hey, that 2/10 Tonetta photo of Alizee with the power chord guitar backing band...watch the video! There are no guitars to be heard. The backing band's function is to stand around with mute instruments and clothes on for contrast.

  11:23am Dan B From Upstate:

Maybe I listen to too much WFMU... Can't say I'm familiar with Snow Patrol.
  11:24am G:

I'm here hiding from Snow Patrol and Foo Fighters and every other way overplayed and worn-out group/song. I accidentally glimpsed Foo Fighters at the Grammys b/c my gf wanted to see Jennifer Hudson sing Whitney Houston.
  11:24am Nathan:

Actually, Pseu has played Snow Patrol more than a few times and Joe Belock (of all people) once.

  11:27am Nathan:

Yellow Snow Patrol...
  11:27am Mark:

I don't know, I was referencing what Mark E Smith was gurgling about Snow Patrol. Don't know if I would know a Snow Patrol song if I fell over it
  11:28am Carmichael:

I actually enjoyed FTP's performance at the Grammys. (the Beach Boy's Wouldn't It Be Nice). Other than that, me no like.
  11:28am G:

Snow P's highest charting and most overplayed tune is Chasing Cars. Wikipedia says it went triple platinum in Australia. Which of their tunes is most annoying is a more subjective metric.
  11:29am bill:

OMG when I was a teenager stationed in Frankfurt my German teacher tried teaching us that song - "so oder so oder anders komm so wie es kommt so is est recht ..."

I liked the JC Satan song. New for me!
  11:35am bill:

Nathan, haha, of course it was my father who was in the military, I just tagged along. Not surprisignly it was set up so that Americans never had to interact with any Germans if they didn't want to.
  11:36am qiz:

What is that awesome background music?
  11:36am Dan B From Upstate:

Oh, that's Snow Patrol? Um.... I kinda like that song. I look forward to being pelted.
  11:37am fofo (-:

well..It didn't hurt.
  11:37am G:

Old enough to know better
  11:38am Nick the Bard:

Cub Scouts are usually 6 - 9, Boy Scouts 10 - 17, ugh, worst years of my life...
  11:38am G:

The bed music is Barry White, seemingly a 45 played at 33.
  11:39am G:

Show me the melody for this.
  11:40am Nathan:

@Bill I'm a military brat myself... though we managed to stay in one place during my pop's 20 year service. That's kind've messed up though.. would think that would be the advantage of serving in a foreign country would be exposure to local culture/education. But I suppose most military bases are set up to provide literally everything a family would need.
  11:40am F:

Hey Ken,
Did you win Valentine's Day in the end?
  11:43am bill:

Nathan, how can you be a military brat and not have moved every 3 years?
  11:44am fofo (-:

I don't know what is more awesome in the Leonard Cohen image. The kid holding the rocket like if it was a bazooka, or the 3-D paiting in the background.
  11:47am Nathan:

@Bill He spent 16 years in the Recruitment division at El Toro after his 4 years of active. Not sure really.

  11:52am fofo (-:

  11:53am Dan B From Upstate:

Three hours flew by this morning.
  11:54am andymorphic:
