Listener comments!

  12:11am
dave:

that satanhartalt thing was really great.
  12:14am
Adam in Portland:

This Nihilobstat thing is really great! Kudos, Wm!
  12:17am
northguineahills:

I'm not usually a fan of the genre (Celtic Frost notwithstanding), but I really dug Nihilobstat.
  12:23am
blee:

@northguineahills - give this show a listen and you may become a fan of this type of music.
DARGAR track was really unique, I like their sound. Sounds like an eclectic show, thus far.
  12:31am
dave:

jeez, just killing it tonight. loved the NRIII track. and yeah, really eclectic mix so far.
  12:32am
northguineahills:

Well, let's just say I love darker metallic acid tragedies w/ patina of radiophonics gone bad, but some some bands that adhere too close the accepted genre (ie: some of the stuff Diane dabbles [love her show]) bores me.
  12:36am
Adam in Portland:

Looking forward to pledging during your show next week!
  12:46am
dave:

i'm trying to avoid cassettes, but stuff like this volkl and the satanhartalt is really testing my resolve.
  12:46am
Rory:

Volkl track is haunting.
  12:48am
dw:

Fusty Cunt! No film-frame?
Avatar 12:48am
Wm.:

Ha! Forgot.... coming shortly.
  12:49am
Rory:

How can you avoid cassettes? Almost all of my favorite music last year came off cassettes.
  12:50am
northguineahills:

It's really hard to find those old cassette organizing containers/boxes these days. I need to build myself some, but my gf already complains about the glut musical media around the apt as it is.

yes, Volkl is perfect now. (there's a really bad pun in there)
  12:55am
dave:

yeah, i dont WANT to avoid cassettes, but space in my apartment is subject to the immutable constraints of physics and finance.
Avatar 12:55am
Wm.:

Shit, sorry - unintentional "collage" - this now is all Volkl - it was before, too~! Fucking great.
  1:00am
northguineahills:

Is Fulci's "Don't Torture a Duckling" worth a peek (saw it's available on Netflix)?
  1:00am
Rory:

dave, i hear ya. I don't like cassettes at all myself but when i see Arizmenda, Dolorvotre, Demonologist, Lussuria i can't resist.
Avatar 1:02am
Wm.:

Duckling! Ha, well, it's a ridiculous mess of an unfathomable giallo—but isn't that what we love about those films? Some of us? If you want to see Florinda Bolkan chain-whipped by angry villagers, then, uh, yeah.
  1:10am
Rory:

Loving the show so far. Custodian noise! Fuck yeah!
  1:15am
northguineahills:

Thanks Wm, I'll add it to my Fri/nite Sat/morning lullaby after whatever happens Friday night.
  1:35am
Rory:

Wm. do you have the Muknal cassette? It sounds great.
Avatar 1:37am
Wm.:

Rory, don't know it—what's it like? Label?

Came a week ago. I just got it in the mail today.

Buried Alive:

Boris is an old fuddy duddy party pooper.
  1:45am
northguineahills:

I don't know, I'm rather jealous of Boris' itinerary. My day looks a lot more gray then that ;)
  2:07am
northguineahills:

Damnage, I had no idea this was a precursor to Autechre. Nice stuff.

The entire Skam discography is a great thing to whip out when some ignoramus says, "techno sucks."
  2:30am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Are there any reports of zombies lurking outside? I need to go out to the car and drive home.
  2:31am
northguineahills:

Skam is one of those few electronic labels where even the mediocre releases were purty darn good. 'Tis a shame they were hard to come by in 90s FL.
  2:44am
blee:

Pure tongue gnashing pleasure.
  2:53am
dw:

Tonight!! Wicked tracks Wm.! Listened to last couple weeks shows a lot this week, no exception here; exceptional hear!
  2:59am
northguineahills:

Shingles sounds like Karl Schultze swimming in Tangerine Dream's New Agey waters, and in this case, it's a compliment.
  3:01am
King penguin:

This is just the thing to get kitty litter, gas and cash on foggy long Island. Thanks.
  3:04am
northguineahills:

Thanks Wm.!
  2:43pm
Effigy:

the Satanhartalt tape is a Legion Blotan release, not Rhinocervs.
  11:04pm
SiHV:

Checking in. Whoah, that Dargar is completely twisted.
  4:37pm
Michael Ktause:

i have to listen to this one and the last three shows archived- miss it 'live' always. looks good!
