	12:44pm BodegaMan: My local bodega installed a hook for my dog, so I don't have to bring him inside. The other night I forgot my dog on said hook for 2 hours. A local bartender was called to bring him to me. (wasn't in the bar, was at home cooking for the family).

	12:51pm Cecile: at least he was safe and not running around. He probably dug all the new smells and sounds he got to experience - dogs are good at making lemonade out of lemons. Sounds like you have a great neighborhood.
	12:55pm BodegaMan: The outside bottle opener would be a nice touch. Although they open at the counter if you ask. Yeah my neighbors are pretty good, did a good job of shaming me too.

	12:57pm BodegaMan: One of my favorite bodega stories is my neighbor keeping a pack of cigarettes behind a box of candy bars. That way if she wants a smoke she has to leave her house to go get one. Takes one from the pack and puts it back on the shelf.
	12:58pm Cecile: it's water under the bridge. Your dog has forgotten all about it. And in a year it will be a funny story.
	1:00pm the dog: Plants tip over sometimes, don't they? Cushions get chewed, don't they? Things happen. But, oh I've forgotten all about that other whatever...thing.
	1:01pm Nathan: Speaking of dogs.. mine are awfully active today. Just put shoes on, they got excited. Phone rings, they got excited. I took a packet of rice out of the cupboard and guess what. They got excited. You'd think I never took them out...
	1:02pm Cecile: and that is funny about your neighbor, too. Our weird little grocery store is fun, too. Once they got some really good lamb in, and put it on a tab because I didint' bring enough money. Another time I asked them for "mystery meat" (what meat came in that day) and "yogurt with no stuff in it" (plain yogurt). The counter guy knew what I was talking about cause I'm there often enough, but the other people in the store just stared at me.. hahahaha.

	1:17pm Jennique: Just tuning back in to hear the Pixies remix. Lurv it! This spring my dog has taken to using my giant exercise ball. She's a 20 lb BTerrier that shoves it down the hall like a linebacker.

	12:57pm BodegaMan: One of my favorite bodega stories is my neighbor keeping a pack of cigarettes behind a box of candy bars. That way if she wants a smoke she has to leave her house to go get one. Takes one from the pack and puts it back on the shelf.

	1:01pm Nathan: Speaking of dogs.. mine are awfully active today. Just put shoes on, they got excited. Phone rings, they got excited. I took a packet of rice out of the cupboard and guess what. They got excited. You'd think I never took them out...
	1:02pm Cecile: and that is funny about your neighbor, too. Our weird little grocery store is fun, too. Once they got some really good lamb in, and put it on a tab because I didint' bring enough money. Another time I asked them for "mystery meat" (what meat came in that day) and "yogurt with no stuff in it" (plain yogurt). The counter guy knew what I was talking about cause I'm there often enough, but the other people in the store just stared at me.. hahahaha.
