"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

I agree about the show. I didn't think I would ever listen to what I have been listening here, in this sequence AND like it.
  Wed. 3/28/12 7:42am Looms:

You faded out an Edward track? Blasphemy! :)
  Wed. 3/28/12 8:13am Nathan:

All that good will... tossed away in a flurry of every Phil Collins #1 hit singles played at the same time. ;)

Fucking Phil Collins understands that busy people like me don't have all day to listen to to Phil Collin's back catalogue. Thank you Fucking Phil Collins.
Wed. 3/28/12 8:41am George of Troy:

John, you sound pretty rough, but it hasn't diminished your ability to put together an awesome set. Hope you feel better soon!

Wed. 3/28/12 8:49am George of Troy:

Wow, I thought the Phil Collins parade story was some sort of fever dream that you had. I see now that it's a real thing. Amazing . . .
