That insanely cool 3-headed guitar could maybe used as a weapon against oversized spiders!

I spent the day making short swords, long swords & a broadsword out of pvc pipe, duct tape & foam, no lie. Sadly, not very effective against scary arachnids. Better for turning 4square games into melees.

Later I'm making chicken (lovingly cared for & raised in local coop/yard & killed by someone I know & trust, tell Lincoln!) in a super masala sauce with cabbage, kale & dandelion greens.

Actually, these peppers and onions were roasted on the grill along with the chicken, so almost like having kebabs off the skewer. The whole wheat rotini is all that's making it Italian.

Surveys have shown that the average GTDS commenter is more apt to spill the beans about their culinary triumphs while the silent masses out there are having a second Snickers. We're all in this cauldron together.

Bob -- I'd be eating gorton's with ramen noodles if it wasn't for kat. I grew up with finnish 'cuisine,' which is mashed potatoes, meatballs and ramen noodles.

A good batch of mashed potatoes with properly made meatballs IS yummy. I wish I knew how my grandfather (who used to be a ship's cook in his youth) made his.... they were fantastic!

When one eats low carb out of necessity, ramen noodles become the stuff of dreams. Sad but true! ;-)

To date I've only killed fish & crustaceans, merely born witness to other animal deaths so Lincoln is a step ahead of me. Working on it. Ethical eating is challenging - esp when grains can kill you!

I make pizza for the family every Friday. I get a ball of dough from the local pizzeria and then do the rest. For the first 10 times I was a real grumblebum, struggling with dough mostly. Then I turned a corner and have become a real pizzamakingmotherfucker.

That sounds super, Doug! We eat out so rarely that when we do, it's something I can't do better myself in the kitchen. I've purposely steered away from certain dishes for that reason - pizza, sushi, tempura.

A friend gave us a pizza stone as a gift. Pretty essential when using a conventional oven. Not that I really know, but it gives me confidence.

I rarely eat out - except for breakfast - although I did a lot last week when my friend was in town - good places to eat are few here - though I did have a couple of really good meals that Lincoln would not approve of

It's curious how much great music there is in every single country, and 99% of it is unavailable to people outside that country. Growing up in Finland we did of course hear a lot of great songs that were translated from worldwide hits, but I don't think it ever worked much the other way around...
