  10:09pm
anne:

yes, didja like it?
  10:14pm
anne:

the least terns, they're territorial and nest in the dunes and will poop on people to keep them away. the breezy point beach club cordons off their area. the national park portion of it is public, part of gateway national recreation area.
  10:15pm
marc:

You were like Tippi Hedren
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm
D. Blumin:

Yes, Marc! To a T!
Yes, Anne, it's public but you have to stay on the beach - and with the birds not-pooping but swooping down like frightodactyls - I tried to find shelter but alas! Straight for Aggressive Birds!
  10:33pm
anne:

yes, much like a scene from the Birds! anyone can actually enter breezy point, there's a gatehouse at the entrance but you can pass through the community. it's living there that's restricted. and right, no one's allowed in the dunes part, also restricted activity due to piping plover nesting: no driving, no running on the beach during nesting time. i used to work at gateway during the summers for national park service and it was quite a fun job.
  10:36pm
dave:

this ulaan markhor album is one of my favorite things this year.

I was away for a bit. The pastor kindly followed the pack and arrived along with a group of olds who walked the course. So, yes, we all beat the pastor.
