Listener comments!

  12:06pm Honey Water:

For John Lurie fans: The Criterion Blu-ray of "Down by Law" will be released at AMZ today July 17 [$24.49].

(I'm tuned in, Joe, but this week's devoted to work, which means listening and far less commenting! :)
  12:08pm Michael , Cologne:

Right here from Germany, good after work show while it`s raining the fourth day... they call it summer...
  12:09pm geokopp:

Todd-O-Phonic and Joe B double feature! This could spoil a guy!
  12:10pm Kenzo:

Your playlisting and commenting will be interrupted at some point, for an hour or so. But keep on playlisting and commenting until we give the word!
Avatar 12:11pm Joe B:

thanks Kenzo! hi all, thanks for tuning in!
  12:12pm SmokinJ:

100 freakin' degrees and ROCKIN' ! :)
  12:14pm SHIMMY:

wait, Dirtnap is putting out this kind of surf now? wow
  12:15pm Carmichael:

Good day Joseph and listeners. These are wunderful rekkids you're playin' here.
  12:19pm Mike East:

I gave my daughter a Meltdowns Teeshirt to tye dye at camp...different Meltdowns, though.
  12:21pm jljl:

Does Deep Purple fit into this show at all? RIP John Lord.
Avatar 12:22pm Joe B:

deep purple does but I am about 3 weeks behind on deat htributes!
Avatar 12:23pm Joe B:

Shimmy, they have about half vocals, great band! they just came through NYC, I missed them!
  12:24pm Honey Water:

I second Carm's comment!

@Mike: Say, Philo and I watched "The Wild Bunch" this past weekend. Too much of a "test. fest" in general, but Edmond O'Brien and Strother Martin were well worth the shoot'emups.
  12:25pm Honey Water:

yay, Andy!
  12:26pm Woo:

Andy! Outstanding! Sam the Sham? My cousin told me she once got thrown out of a Sam concert for stealing the sparkles off his pants. She also thinks Peter Noone was a jerk.
  12:26pm jljl:

You can combine Andy, Jon, and who else have I forgotten about?
  12:34pm still b/p:

Missed The Fishin' Hole by a minute. So it's the one that got away...and it makes me Mopie.
  12:39pm John L.:

Just found out that some friends of mine are opening for the Sights tonight, in Memphis.
  12:39pm Honey Water:

still @Mike East: FWIW, I have a problem equally with "est. fest" films, like Sex & the City, most RomComs, etc. :)
  12:40pm Honey Water:

Anyway, back to working and listening w/o comments. Thanks for the labor soundtrack, Joe! Later.
Avatar 12:41pm Joe B:

John, cool! who is it?

@ Woo, wow, I heard Noone was OK. maybe a bad day.

Hi George! same twin spin next week!
Avatar 12:42pm Joe B:

@ Honey Water, thanks for the info. Love down by law!

Hi Michael, J, Shimmy, Carmichal, Miek East, jljl, b/p, thanks for tuning in! not sure when playlist will be going down but soon ...
  12:47pm John L.:

Shana Falana and Mike Amari. They are a local duo, as well as bookers for a music venue up here.
  12:48pm dc pat:

here but much MUCH too busy to doing things like commenting, tut, tut!
  12:50pm Carmichael:

Shit, Jon Lord died?!? They're droppin' like flies around here.
  12:58pm Mike East:

@Honey Water - sorry for the delay...I'm workin' too. I was supposed to watch "For a Few Dollars More" but the postman didn't deliver til yesterday. I do the romcoms for my wife, but she prefers the French ones, which tend to be better than the domestic romcoms, and I can handle that.
Avatar 12:58pm Joe B:

Hi Pat, hang in there, sorry you are busy!
  1:06pm Tom G:

High Flyin Bird is great ... reminds me of Crime in the City.
  1:08pm Cheri Pi:

Hey Joe B! DCP! all of the rest of youse...
Avatar 1:10pm Joe B:

I agree Tom, great track! Hi Cheri!
  1:22pm David Shortell:

Goodbye Blue Monday is right next door to Lone Wolf, Joe.
Avatar 1:31pm Joe B:

  1:35pm David Shortell:

Also, did you mention this Saturday's CreaturesFest at the North Penn Gun Club? The late Mark W. Smith will be paid tribute by the Insomniacs as well as some Pennsylvania bands.
Avatar 1:36pm Joe B:

thanks again, didn't know about that one
  1:44pm dc pat:

...hmmmm "Pennsylvania bands"...I used to be in a bunch of those..

Hi Cheri!
  2:05pm Carmichael:

It just dawned on me that I heard John Doe's voice back there. Great stuff.
  2:07pm dc pat:

No mistaking Doe's voice...
  2:29pm Kneel Peart:
