  12:18pm Parq:

Great news about a new Los Straits release -- Joe, do you know if they're going to be able to tour?
  12:18pm Mike Sin:

Hey! I had a little "trouble" following all of Todd-o-phonic's gripe, but once I heard Ken jump in to mediate, I knew it was serious... just like an Andy Kaufman skit!
  12:18pm joe:

'ello folks
  12:19pm joe:

@Cool guy still have not gotten used to the sch change huh?
Avatar 12:20pm Joe B:

Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in! Parq, they are touring, not sure if daddy O-Grande will be with them. He was able to record, he is on the record, in the video etc!
  12:21pm kat330:

Couldn't help noticing in the changing of the jays how Todd-o-phonic Todd sounds a lot like Jonah Hill.
And Joe, I've said it before, you sound so much like Seth Rogan. You two should get the script of Superbad and read it on the radio. Maybe enlist a female on staff -- Irene or Amanda? -- to voice the Michael Cera role. Be great! :)
  12:21pm geokopp:

Todd-O-Phonic gettin pretty pushy, Joe. You shoulda kicked his ass!
  12:21pm Cheri Pi:

Poor T-O-T :( He's got the Fill-in DJ blues.
  12:22pm Derek D:

I Thought about YOU, Joe!! Thanks for the spin...
  12:25pm joe:

Joe B. and Parq. It is my understanding he is doing at least some shows on the tour that I know of.
Avatar 12:26pm Joe B:

cool! They will be in NYC in early October, hope he will be there!
  12:33pm joe:

Yeah I missed the City Winery with Eilen Jewel show so was thinking of catching the OCT show
Avatar 12:33pm Joe B:

Hi BR, Sonny, Ken, Danimal, CG, Cheri Pi, Parq, Mike Sin, Joe!
Avatar 12:34pm Joe B:

Hey George! maybe next time! Hi Kat ... hmmm, a radio drama perhaps?
  12:38pm Dominick:

  1:01pm Woo:

Kick-ass show today. I love Todd but I'm glad Joe is in the house. It's been a great morning/afternoon on FMU.
  1:02pm joe:

Been so long since I've been able to listen real time. Great show Joe B.
  1:05pm joe:

Going to see the King Dick Dale tonight very psyched.
  1:06pm John L.:

Just saw Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby, up here, this past Saturday. Great show. Chris Butler played drums for part of the set.
  1:06pm kat330:

@Joe B: Heh, yeah, twisting the comedy into a drama -- Supergood instead. :)
  1:11pm steve:

Why no podcast of one of my favorite FMU shows, 3 Chord Monte?
  1:13pm Cool guy:

do the shamrock!
  1:14pm Mike East:

steve- a nice trick with the WFMU app is downloading archived shows to listen later like a podcast. That's how I used to get around the non-podcasted shows when I had a thing that had the app
  1:14pm xangoir:

never a dull moment on here
  1:15pm joe:

can we get Bad Boy?
  1:21pm joe:

All the best Marcus.
  1:21pm Parq:

Just saw the 'Bones at Coney Island a few weeks back.
  1:21pm joe:

THANK YOU one of my all time favorite versions of this song.
  1:29pm jt:

  1:30pm Dominick:

Remember only you can prevent forest fires
  1:38pm SHIMMY:

  1:39pm chris.com:

Avatar 1:42pm Joe B:

Hi Herb, Woo, thanks for checking in. John, sounds like a cool show! Hi Mike and Steve, steve, not sure if this can be a podcast with digital music rights or something like that. I could be wrong!
Avatar 1:42pm Joe B:

Joe, my pleasure! Hi Xangoir, thanks JT! I should have thought of that Shimmy! Hi Chris, thanks!
  1:48pm Woo:

Listened to this Neil CD all weekend. Amazing.
  1:49pm Chris V.:

This Neil Young record is burning a hole in my summer. Great track.
  1:52pm joe:

Have to say I am not the highest level NY fan but this cd was a plesant surprise recommended by a friend.
  1:55pm John L.:

East Of Venus is playing up here on August 4, Joe. I think we are too far out of the spectrum for the local event guide, but alot is going on in the 90.1 listener range.
  1:56pm SHIMMY:

high flyin bird is a song I always wanted Neil to do; lyrics kind of have his name written all over them!
  2:00pm joe:

What was your over all opinion of the reunion Joe B ?
Avatar 2:02pm Joe B:

Good call Shimmy, it is the highlight of the record!

@ Joe, the Beach Boys? LOVED it. went to 4 shows (2 in May, 2 in late June)
  2:05pm John L.:

  2:08pm Otis:

T. Tex! Go Nervebrakers!
  2:09pm Mike Sin:

I've really been enjoying this new Nervebreakers' comp of late '70s tracks. Listenin' loud now, Joe!
  2:11pm Cheri Pi:

This set is blazing hot JB!!
  2:13pm rubble:

Yeah! What she said!
  2:17pm SHIMMY:

ha. gettin' on 2:30 and it's last call joe? guess we'll be hearing this one a lot, huh?
  2:19pm joe:

  2:48pm joe:

Love this Bevis Frond it's almost Monster Magnet Nice. :)
  2:50pm David Shortell:

When attending King Khan & the Shrines tonight, remember that Asbury Park meters the parking spaces until midnight. During Saturday's Shonen Knife show, I was ticketed at 11:34 PM!
  2:51pm joe:

Joe where is Weckerfest?
Avatar 2:51pm Joe B:

that sucks David!
Avatar 2:52pm Joe B:

@ Joe at a place called Canvas Clash in Boonton NJ
  2:52pm Woo:

Go forth and drink tequila Joe. You earned it today. Thank you for entertaining us.
  2:52pm joe:

If you get there early enough there is free parking on the side street of Asbury Lanes. It would be if you were to be facing the club on your left hand side first side street. Yes do not screw around with the meters major source of income for the city and they do truly like to hang out in front of the lanes.
  2:53pm joe:

Thanks Joe
  2:59pm David Shortell:

Actually, that Shonen Knife show was on Friday.
Saturday, I attended the CreaturesFest in honor of Mark W. Smith. The ex-Creatures in the band Wormwood Scrubs amazed me with their cover of the Who's "Odorono"!
  4:54pm Glen Worley:

Thanks for inflicting The Soulphonics on your unsuspecting audience!
