Avatar 6:21am fxo:

it's dark in Jersey City (for now). Sun's supposed to be on it's way.
  6:22am Marmalade kitty:

rather wet and windy over here!
..Bootsy & Shatner! :D
Avatar 6:26am fxo:

seems typical, in the UK. A little less Shatner, more Bootsy!
  6:39am Marmalade kitty:

nice bit of tambourine
  6:42am maestroso:

Good morning/afternoon FXO and MK
Weather is mainly fine here in NJ
I've gotta check the archives for that Collins/Moraz/Shatner thing...
Avatar 6:44am fxo:

Avatar 7:08am fxo:

MK: the weather by you seems normal, eh?
  7:11am Madi:

Hiya FXO, Just a checkin'-in. Last time I was in Manchester was maybe 1986? Saw The Fall play. Also saw Husker Du that trip.
Avatar 7:15am fxo:

hey Madi. Ah, the 80's, great songs. Especially bein' in the UK. How's bayou?
  7:20am Madi:

We like to laissez whatever bon temps care to roulex, cher. Goodbye to a summer that had nothing left to offer. We march into fall with our chin up and our boots on. We have reassembled and we are a shambles. xoxo
Avatar 7:23am fxo:

that's the spirit, Madi.
  7:25am Marmalade kitty:

a considerable number of people (in Mancs..) have said of Manchester, "the best thing to happen to manchester was the bomb.." Thats pretty f** miserable !
  7:26am Marmalade kitty:

just for the record, I don't agree with any of that nonsense..!
  7:27am Madi:

The people are nice ;-)
  7:29am Marmalade kitty:

sorry! (thats not the spirit)
  7:32am Marmalade kitty:

Morrissey!
  7:34am Marmalade kitty:

"..If it's not love, then it's the bomb...that will bring us together"
  7:36am Keith in VT:

Greetings from Vermont... where we're about to enter the two most beautiful weeks of the year. Thanks FXO for the alternate take on my fav. Dylan song!
Avatar 7:36am fxo:

There ya go, like Meat Puppets, der Cure, the aforementioned The Fall, to name a few.
  7:39am Madi:

Vermont is the bomb.

  7:48am Marmalade kitty:

Avatar 7:52am fxo:

  7:57am Marmalade kitty:

nice one Madi!
  7:57am Adler:

Morning Frank!
  7:57am Brian in UK:

Hello fxo Mk, Madi et al. First Band song I ever heard. Fair turned my head, still does.
  8:01am Marmalade kitty:

Hi Brian! How's the hound?
  8:03am Brian in UK:

Think he might get a short walk today, Mk. Has not stopped pouring all day. Might head for the woods.
  8:11am PKNY:

I missed that Symphonic Four track this morning, damn! I tried doing a search for the "Living on the Flipside" comp, and came up empty. Do you have any details on that? Thanks!
  8:12am Madi:

MK & Brian, are your vegetables rotting in the garden with all the rain?
Avatar 8:12am fxo:

morning Mr. Adler!
Brian in UK: nice for you to check in. I heard, via MK, that your hound is getting rained on.
Avatar 8:13am fxo:

Madi, someone left the cake in the reign.
  8:16am Madi:

...I was discussing phytopthera but baked goods have microorganisms in common, that's the yeast we can do.
  8:16am Brian in UK:

Madi, it is the strangest year, we have no cherries at all on one tree; but the plum trees are heaving under the weight of fruit. Potatoes were not great. Did not ever bother with toms. Add to all that and we are under threat of losing our allotment in order for new flats to be build on the land.
Avatar 8:17am fxo:

PKNY: maybe you can check it in the archive, otherwise I don't know how stuff gets into the new bin, courtesy of BT, MD. Ask him...
Avatar 8:18am fxo:

Brian: global warming sucks.
  8:18am Marmalade kitty:

no chillis this year!
Avatar 8:19am fxo:

MK: pardon the pun, but I love "The Chills" from NZ.
  8:21am Madi:

Well Brian get a request for a roof garden in, maybe a basement greenhouse, mobilize if you can and having lost a few gardens myself I say there is always an opportunity for plant person place consider Eli Zabar has a bakery under his grrenhouse grows rosemary for the bread etc. Don't lose heart. Love The Chills, too.
  8:26am Brian in UK:

We have got a few chilli plants on the go in pots that & some herbs.
There is no room in our back garden as we have some chickens taking up space. I know a bluddy menagerie.
  8:30am Brian in UK:

Tell you what, Mk I could murder some hot black puddin', from Bury market right now & some draught champagne from Yates Wine Lodge (sawdust on the floor an all). Is the Polish Club still on the Oldham Road?
  8:31am Marmalade kitty:

don't know the chills. The shins are from NZ, no?
  8:32am Marmalade kitty:

Heh! :)
  8:33am Andrew Waterloo:

For the others straining to remember the Tom Petty song is Last Dance with Mary Jane
Avatar 8:33am fxo:

MK: great songs/Lps from the Chills. I'll get back to you on The Shins.
  8:37am Brian in UK:

Fanny was from down under!!!
  8:38am Madi:

Shins are fron New Mexico and MK if you did not notice Brian wants to murder pudding with a wet dog in tow and is clearly broken up about no tomato this year. What do you say?
Avatar 8:41am fxo:

MK;; Madi's on the money with the Shins.
Brian: Fanny was from LA, via The Hawaii and The Philippines.
  8:42am Jack:

love "Institutionalized"
  8:44am Marmalade kitty:

Never been to that Polish club, Brian, whats the name..? Yate's lodge has been closed for a while now, dunno if it's being refurbished..
  8:44am PKNY:

fxo: Thanks for the info!
  8:45am Brian in UK:

Madi think Amanda has said it all.
  8:45am Marmalade kitty:

  8:47am Madi:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIwA0zRW8Es
  8:47am Marmalade kitty:

  8:48am Andrew Waterloo:

the TP was Last Dance with Mary Jane :)
  8:49am Brian in UK:

Mk Lawd knows I was best man at a wedding there about 40 years ago. I remember driving a Ford Corsair. This dates me somewhat.
Avatar 8:51am fxo:

MK: music mistakes are my forte.
Andrew: I can change the Petty reference. Thanks.
  8:51am Krypt:
