A reminder that the station is experiencing a major shortfall in the funding area due to the cancellation of the record fair and the frying of some major equipment thanks to Sandy. If you can help out please hit the pledge button on top of the page.

rich:

The photo on the top of the page is my mother-in-law taking a photo of herself in the bathroom of infinity. She was well-traveled and enjoyed life as much as she could.
  2:30am
rich:

It's good to hear the old phone number over the air; my nostalgia for numbers begins to kick in.
  2:32am
daupo:

Rich, Erik, Judith, et al., these are just the right sounds for this early Saturday morning. Many thanks.
  2:37am
rich:

daupo,
is your early earlier than this early here or is it a later early (early nonetheless)?
  2:43am
rich:

Stork is talking about an earlier marathon, the marathon from 1997. However, we are currently raising money to help offset the loss of funds from the cancellation of the Record Fair and the damage done during the hurricane. See the homepage for more info or click on the pledge button on top of the webpage to take you to a page where you can see what kind of swag is available for amount pledged.
  2:45am
daupo:

It's the late, recently home sort of early, not the early, get-up-to-make-doughnuts sort of early, happily.
  2:50am
rich:

They knew where he lived because he was living at the station at the time.
(from The Annotated Stork Club)
  2:51am
rich:

To be accurate, he wasn't living at the station, he just never left the station.
  3:00am
Tamar:

That's because it's Phil Kraus.
  3:04am
rich:

Duh! that's what I get for trying to be sweet.
