  2:01pm
Doug S.:

On the Ichibahn, you can stream as fast as you like!
  2:01pm

Someone should play Itchy Itchy by Profressor Morrison's Lollipop.
  2:02pm
Matt from Springfield:

Fiveash! Welcome back!
Speeding without a ticket on this Ichibahn!

Fiveash:

Hello Charlie listeners and everybody else!
  2:05pm
Matt from Springfield:

Also want to thank Doug for hosting the Ichiban shows in exile! When I heard that server got knocked out, I was going to suggest to Doug if he could sponsor the Thursday lineup after Charlie's show, but clearly Doug was way ahead of me on that page!
  2:06pm
Tower:

Wow! That's bright after the short vacation with Charlie on the river Styx.
  2:07pm
Doug S.:

All credit goes to the mighty Ichiban. The stream that shall not be denied.
  2:07pm
Matt from Springfield:

From what I heard, Dr. Filth has a backup Ichiban that he's using to run the music jukebox on the usual wfmu_rock PLS stream; I just checked, that's working. But as of now we can't remote connect live shows to that stream. So it's Exile on Ichiban Stream until we raise the funds to get that equipment fixed. Have at it!
  2:12pm
listener james from westwood:

av club had a nice "close listen" on "runaway" a month or so back.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm
Fiveash:

Thanks MFS. True, Dr. Filth has been heroic in the midst of this chaos. Check out his piece on Norton Records on the Ichiban blog...

I could use a pledge or two. I call that friendship!

Tower:

I will forever associate that song with police squad.
  2:32pm
Matt from Springfield:

Thought this song sounded familiar! Love Live At Leeds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
Fiveash:

Yes indeed! It's the theme from M Squad, a TV series with Lee Marvin that's a must see for fans of Police Squad/Naked Gun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Fiveash:

Pledge for religious music like Live at Leeds!
  2:34pm
Uncle Michael:

The marathon map shows my pledges coming from the town where my ISP is headquartered. Wichita, KS deserves no credit. Harumph. Topeka, FTW.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38pm
Fiveash:

What's the matter with Kansas?
  2:40pm
Anchovy Paste:

I read that book.
  2:41pm
Matt from Springfield:

The Good Rev. Louis Overstreet! Everyone's fav COGIC (Church Of God In Christ) pastor.
  2:41pm
Lore:

Really liking Nay Dog followed by Rev. Overstreet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42pm
Fiveash:

Hey Mr. Lore! Yeah, you're the target demographic for that segue!
  2:45pm
Uncle Michael:

I have my fingers crossed for some Sister Rosetta. It makes typing this a challenge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm
Fiveash:

Nuts, I should have brought the very germane "Didn't It Rain"! But I didn't. Sorry Unca Mike...
  2:48pm
Matt from Springfield:

@UM: Sister Rosetta, one of the very best there ever was in gospel!
  2:50pm
Doug S.:

Greetings to you, up there, Brother Lore.
  2:52pm

Matt from Springfield:

"Wham bam thank you ma'am"?!? What year is that Dr. John from? More important, what's the year of any original blues source? That's a Bowie classic, but pre-Bowie!
  3:09pm
Ralph And Susan (UK):

One of our favourite Them songs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm
Fiveash:

Yeah, it's a beaut ennit?
  3:12pm
seang:

Nice! It's cool that they serve beer now too--my fave words to say in a Boston accent are "tahtah sauce" and "tiah mahks"
  3:12pm
Matt from Springfield:

My first time hearing this Them, thanks for playing Fiveash!
And glad you enjoy it, Ralph & Susan! (Though what's not to enjoy about it!)
  3:14pm
Artie:

The wham-bam precedes us all. Cain't have no rockers without no wham-bam. QED, baby.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm
Fiveash:

Also "vodka" and "lobstah". Good thing they didn't serve beer when I was there or it most certainly would have accidentaly burned down.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
Fiveash:

The Wham Bam is a close cousin of the Googa Mooga.
  3:20pm
Uncle Michael:

I wonder if I could put together an hour of googa mooga/googlie mooglie songs...hmm...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm
Fiveash:

Easily!
  3:25pm
Uncle Michael:

Hmm...I'm up for the challenge. I can no longer affords to forgo any good theme idea.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
Fiveash:

Move the widget and wag the dog! Only 25 minutes left to pledge!
  3:35pm
Matt from Springfield:

W00t! Hank Sr!
  3:37pm
Matt from Springfield:

And now Johnny Paycheck! Hardcore honky tonk classics here!
  3:39pm
Uncle Michael:

Muddy does a nice job with this Allman Brothers song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
Fiveash:

Yeah, a lot of those Chicago guys did great Allman Brothers covers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm
Fiveash:

66%! Thank you Matt in Jackson Heights, and happy belated birthday!
  3:53pm
Uncle Michael:

Dusty!
  3:54pm
Matt from Springfield:

Yeah Dusty!
  3:55pm
Uncle Michael:

This and Going Back are my favorite Dusty records.
  3:59pm

  4:00pm
Matt from Springfield:

Thanks Fiveash! Have a good week!
  4:01pm
Uncle Michael:

Are we staying here or does Ted get his own playlist?
  4:06pm
Fiveash:

Ted gets his very own playlist! Oughta be a link on the FMU homepage. Thanks everyone, thanks GTDR for continuing to let us crash on your couch!
  6:23pm
Firebottle:

Looks like the show is the usual two hour set, but the mp3 archive contains only an hour and six minutes?
  8:35am
Fiveash:

Yeah, there was a recording error. A team of FMU scientists are working around the clock to try and fix it.
  4:23pm
Firebottle:

Bummer. That was a really good show.
