HELLO HUMANS!
  3:06am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I now realizee that I capitalized the wrong letter in your name in my comment on Therese's playlist [did the "d" instead of the first "e"]. Apologies.
Avatar 3:09am
amEdeo:

That IS fine BGZ! The day no one misspells my name is a very frightening day for all of humanity.

amEdeo:

Humans! A very special thanks to everyone who has chipped in so far! We're getting closer and closer to the station's HELL & HIGH-WATER goal, but we ain't there yet! Things are still pretty messed up here at WFMU and any amount of support would really help. So please, if you could, take a moment and go to the little pledge box at the top of the playlist.

Just remember it's like Shakespeare said:
"Doesn't matter if you're skinny/
Doesn't matter if you're fat/
You can dress up like a sultan/
In your onion head hat/
Goodnight sweet prince."

Kenzo (lastever):

Fingertips! Did you play it on shuffle?
Avatar 3:44am
Kenzo (lastever):

Here's the part where I apologize to one and all if anything about your playlist page experience happens to briefly go wrong, as I'm about to perform a major software upgrade.

amEdeo:

NORP! I played it in order, in honor of a live performance of it that I witnessed over the summer. IT WAS IN A BASEMENT DEEP BELOW A SUPERMARKET.... and it was there, that I became tied to WFMU.
Avatar 3:45am
amEdeo:

Alright KENZO! I'll be holding my breath.
Avatar 3:52am
Kenzo (lastever):

I can still sing Fingertips in order from memory, and it's probably been 15 years since I've heard it. I used to photograph their concerts a lot.
Avatar 3:54am
Kenzo (lastever):

Y'know what? The very first song I ever played on the air (Feb. 1994) was a TMBG song:
lastever.org...
Avatar 3:57am
amEdeo:

Hah. Well there you go! Do you still have any of those pictures? I brought out a dial-a-song flexi that I might play later... fun to visit a slightly earlier TMBG.
  4:00am
:

Dont talk, play music
Avatar 4:04am
Kenzo (lastever):

Scream, it's music.
I used to call Dial-a-Song all the time, and recorded lots and lots of it to cassette. I have my photos (amidst the rest of the artifacts from my concert photography phase), recordings of some concerts and an interview I did with John L....
  4:15am
:

stop than annoying bullshit and play music.
  4:21am
artingu:

that gif is messing with my head
  4:26am
amEdeo:

@Kenzo: Wow. I'd love to check those out sometime.

@artingu: Yes! It makes my thoughts feel all drippy.

amEdeo:

Anyone eating food out there?
  5:02am
Kenzo (lastever):

I am merely digesting your appleseed stew
  5:31am
amEdeo:

Oh no, oh no, no, no. Kenzo, that poison stew was not for you!! Quick, is there an internet doctor in the house?!
  5:36am
artingu:

hey kenzo, nice work with the playlist thingie! I'm a dev also so i'm appreciating it from a professional standpoint :)
Avatar 5:37am
Kenzo (lastever):

My thingie is your thingie.
  5:38am
amEdeo:

Thingies for everyone!

fred von helsing:

Hey when do you release it (maybe in binary form) for DJs to use to stream their gigs in real time? You could embed plugs for WFMU. ""In case of sucky song, jump to wfmu.org"
