@Michael: which came first? Your premium, or Prince Rama's Top ten hits of the end of the world?

Michael Shelley:

Adam - yes indeed - I wish he'd make a POP album - I think his hardcore fans pay his bills - but his heart lies in pure pop.
  12:00pm
Adam:

Agreed. He knows how to do it. Saw him live once and although it was a little too punk rock for me now, he kept the pop elements there.
  12:12pm
baby:

Baby!

Andy in Berlin:

Hey Michael, what about the World's Greatest Music Experts? I always enjoy those shows. When are you going to do that again?
Avatar 12:16pm
Michael Shelley:

Gaylord & I were just discussing that!
I'll work on it.

Tim:

"The cab took us home through a night I'd not noticed / The neon club lights of adult films and Trini Lopez"

Meaning Trini's name (movie? live appearance?) was on a marquee the cab passed. I think.
  12:17pm
Andy in Berlin:

Can't wait!
Avatar 12:18pm
Michael Shelley:

THANKS Tim - for years the "of adult films and" part has eluded me!

ChooChoo - ATL:

Now I want me a Botany 500 suit!
  12:24pm

Joe B:

Hey Michael, show sounding great as usual!
  12:44pm
Sean T.:

Someone really needs to make the Johnny Otis documentary or bio-pic.
  12:48pm
Philo Gristle:

Hi Michael and everyone else. Well, missed most of the show but what I've heard in the last 15 minutes has been terrific as usual. I'll need to check the archives for the Marva Whitney interview. And kat330's been listening here in the house all morning and agrees!
  12:48pm
JSG:

Shakin' Street is the perfect song. That is all.
  12:48pm
Mike Sin:

Been letting this show roll wide open and really enjoying it! Snow/slush outside, so I've been spending the day inside in polar fleece and slippers...
  12:49pm
Geokopp:

MC5! How was that band not more successful? They were amazing!
  12:54pm
David in ATL from NJ:

Their voices together sound like Joe Ely
(BM&JL). Great song!
