Bill Mac...!!! The Gun Club. Thank you and good morning from Germany.

Bill Mac:

Good Morning Gentlemen. Welcome to the last show of 2012. Lots of people will be happy to see this year go, for sure. On the other hand, because of the 'fiscal cliff' drama we're experiencing here, there is some 1949 law that goes into effect that amounts to us paying 8 bucks a gallon for milk! Oh, and what's this I was reading about Britain having a contingency disaster plan for zombies? Better watch Shawn of the Dead to have of an idea of what you need to do to survive! Hey, M&B!!!
  3:45am
Michael and birgit, cologne:

Lucky Jim was a great album and Jeffrey died a lot too early...What is Kid Kongo Powers doing today...?

@David - Yeah I use the "Organs in Orbit" comp for music beds all the time... people seem to dig it
  4:17am
Jay/ London:

a little underused thing the kazoo i had one when i was young and drove people mad with it
Avatar 4:18am
Bill Mac:

@Brian - That's awesome - have a Slayer Xmas!
Avatar 4:21am
Bill Mac:

@ Jay I tried to play one during my Public Enemy "Bring the Noize" effort a few years ago. Apparently kazoos only work when you kind of breathe into them.
  4:22am
david from ks:

that last track sounded Dylanesque!
  4:22am
Brian in UK:

'Fire & Ice' very Spinal Tap.
  4:25am
Jay/ London:

the dylan box set has sold out here in the uk has anyone got it for xmas ? .. have you still got the kazoo Bill if so give us a blast or maybe not ...

Friend of mine came in and was flashed by Demis Roussos. And for me Fred Frith... Still online .Great show. Thank you for the information on Kid Kongo Powers. You know the film "Don`t bring a dog" from Oliver Schwabe? It is a small film about the New york scene in 1994, Kid Kongo, Lydia, Sonic Youth and it is a good one.
Avatar 4:31am
Bill Mac:

Fred Frith flashed you? Rumor has it that he DJ'd here. Don't know the movie-speaking of which, there's a Frith movie called Step Across the Border -think it was made in 90. No kazoos Jay, next instrument I learn to play will be a real one

What Dylan box set? I actually bought a box without a set and it's very nice.

Ooo, nice one Bill. Here we go.....
Avatar 4:55am
Bill Mac:

I've been accused of having a PIL obsession from time to time. Anyone see their tour this year?
  5:00am
Stanley:

Flowers of Romance remains one of my favourite albums of the eighties (1981 I think). It's experimental daring was a counterpoint to the 'new wave 'silliness' that abounded at the time.
  5:01am
Brian in UK:

Thanks for the Anton info Bill.
What a request service. Got any Lord Buckley? Tee Hee.
  5:04am
