Yo KP! How's you Saturday going? Actually how's Friday night been?
Avatar 3:48am
northguineahills:

I once took Amtrak from J-ville to Ft-Lauderdale b/c my car was in the shop. It toolk 13 hours b/c it went to Tampa first, and since the freight train company (CSX) owned the tracks, many a time we had to be stationary while cargo trains went by. A straight drive would have been just plus of 5 hours.

Hey thinks for poppin' in NGH! Don't be a stranger.

We got some very lazy attempt at snow here. Cannot decide if it wants to hit the ground or just do a Spiritualised and float in space.
Avatar 3:51am
northguineahills:

NE corridor, DC-Boston, Amtrak owns the track, so it's an easy trip. I'd take the bus usually, but w/ a winter storm, and a taxi fare this was the cheaper alternative. I also only have to get there 2 minutes before the train leaves, and bring what ever I want in my luggage.

Wow Charlie played Kensington Bop! I was the singer in that living room band - you can hear the Beefheart influence in that one. Good times they were.
Avatar 4:21am

I need to tune into Charlies show. I used to listen to him on the way home from the Sunday overnight back in the day. Seeing him walking round 'FMU on a Monday morning meant all was right in the world.

I meant i missed the song you played in the time it took to walk from my car into house (we still have a lot of snow on ground here). Yes i saw the MC5 as an opening act, they were outrageous, especially Kramer. Ive heard some of his solo stuff but none of it has not really stuck with me.
