Amen to that ! (Re tech and innovations.) What always amazes me is how obvious it is in hindsight that a radio station should be doing the things on the web that FMU has done for years, and yet still, even with FMU to set the example and with most other non-commercial stations having far greater financial resources, practically no one else is, say, archiving programs or running live playlists.

i've had to look up a bunch of radio stations for work, and their homepages and archives are often geocities-level at best. these are stations money-rich enough to license a string of right-wing blowhards, whereas fmu gives you so much on a razor-thin budget and a tribe of dedicated techies.
