NGH:There have been some screwy things going on with the scheduling of playlists in my absence. Apologies for the confusion.

Avatar 9:13am
ndbob:

morning Jesse, Doug, everyone
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13am
Doug Schulkind:

Just ordered 20 more lobsters from our man. Called him on his cell right out on his boat midst lobstering.

Heading out for a kayaking jaunt in a bit, Stanley. Hoping to see the neighborhood bald eagle (affectionately named "Bernard" for the duration of our visit) on the trip. He's been getting nastily dive-bombed by crows for the past few days. (Don't worry. Bernard's a motherfucker. Barely lifts a feather while the jerks swarm at him.)
Avatar 9:15am
ndbob:

wow Doug... and about to set off in a week or so for my trip East
Avatar 9:15am
northguineahills:

Thought so, it showed up on the main page.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am
Uncle Michael:

I'm tardy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am
Stanley:

Glad to hear you're having a proper holiday. Lobsters 'n' all. Crows can be mean ol' bastards. *Go Bernard*.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am
Uncle Michael:

did we just lose the stream?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20am
Stanley:

*Reboot*Reboot*Reboot*
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20am
Doug Schulkind:

The pop-up player keeps crapping out. Doing its hiccuppy thing, which suggests the stream connection is in and out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20am
Alex In Illinois:

@Uncle Michael:
I'm tardier
Avatar 9:20am
Jesse K:

yep. sorry about that, this router is fishy this morning, should be back up now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21am
Uncle Michael:

'tis.
Avatar 9:22am
ndbob:

yep - it is here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23am
Uncle Michael:

I don't think the pop-up reconnects properly on its own. pause/play sorts it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23am
Alex In Illinois:

Is that a scene from the old Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon with Buster Crabbe? The spaceships sounded like diesel horns and has sparks falling from the back?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am
Uncle Michael:

Stihling the Blues is about a chaainsaw.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27am
KevinfromBayRidge:

Mornin' Drummersomes. Our worst problems in life should be refreshing pop-up players! Doug, rub the lobster thing into our shellfish craving appe-psyches!!

King Tardy meets the Lobsters upside the Cay. Howdeedoodee.

Good Friday morning, all. Glad you're enjoying the coast, Doug.
Could those crows be ravens?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36am

Did you know a pilchard is a mature sardine.
Avatar 9:37am

Brian in UK:

@UM that's Eiffel
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39am
Doug Schulkind:

Hiya trish!
Anything's possible, but my naturalist chum Allan, traveling with us called them crows. He could spot a bug at 30 yards and tell you what it ate for breakfast.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40am
Stanley:

@Brian - thought I'd never say this but its 27C up here and 28C last Tuesday. A Monty Python quote is quite appropriate today. BTW I know a chap call Barry Pilchard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44am
Doug Schulkind:

Bangor, the drum, slowly.
  9:44am
trish:

Gotcha. 'Crow' can sometimes be used as a 'gull' like generic. I say raven because they aren't in cities. They make me think of east coast woods.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44am
Uncle Michael:

Is there yellow matter custard dripping from Bob the builder's dog's eye?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:45am
Brian in UK:

Is this the Trailer for sale or rent, Bangor?
Avatar 9:45am

Last time I saw the Mahotella Queens in concert, One of them shouted something like: "You're not too old to dance! I'm up here singing and I have grandchildren older than you!"
Avatar 10:05am
Jesse K:

Alex, to answer your question from some time ago: yes, the gif is from the 1940 version of Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe!

There is a building in Chicago that a few of us call the "Flash Gordon Building" because it looks a little like one of those ships

Verizon doesn't serve the Maine coast very well (at all), otherwise I'd have you booming out in Penobscot Bay.
Avatar 11:04am

-currently aok, though bits of other tracks (0.1-0.5s) have cut in. More than twice, less than five times.
-Now Playing now says 'LadioCast 0.10.4'
Avatar 11:27am

thanks Trish, are you on the 128k or popup?
Avatar 11:28am

On my end, on the 128k, I think I had the same as trish
Avatar 11:31am
Jesse K:

ok, there's something about the internet in this building that's fishy, which is frustrating because it should just work without magic happening. Somehow, sometimes, computers are magic.
