hello ? no comments, no tracklist...
time stopped and music kept going ?
so wfmu eventually found its way over the space-time continuum.

I'm pretty sure we're still on the first track so the back-announce isn't going to be too challenging.
Somebody check the bathroom and make sure DJ Stan isn't passed out on the potty.

bibi:

is this how a wfmu dj strike sounds like ?
Avatar 3:49am
Whooda:

I think this is what we are supposed to expect after a catastrophic nuclear attack. This maybe an hour long emergency test of the Emergency Broadcast System.
Avatar 3:53am
bibi:

@whooda, which means wfmu passed its security inspection successfully ! hooray.

We are approaching the limit concentration point... We are there ooOOO

Hi Stan, it's (mta) Tony! So good to see you've got the comments board up. Wonderful opening set. Love that Shatner stuff.
Avatar 4:12am
Whooda:

@CDToaster did you build that TR (3?) and are those disc brakes?
Avatar 4:16am
CDToaster:

@Whooda: OMG, I can hardly believe you remember that about me! Please do remind me of how you know about me and the TR (yes) 3. Yes I indeed completed the restoration and the car looks like it's brand new! Pretty cool for a 1960 English convertible. Yes, Front Disc Brakes! You're amazing; tell me about yourself now...
Avatar 4:22am
Whooda:

I saw the car on your profile page tonight. I've never seen it before because I would certainly remember it. That is incredible, it's almost time to peel around (upstate?) with it.
I've had a couple of GT6. Recently restored a chrome bumper Midget while living in North Carolina. I would really like to play with a bug eye sprite or TR3.

@CDToaster I'm guessing you've got about eight to nine years in that beauty?

Sonia:

@ALAN Afternoon, dear
Avatar 4:41am
CDToaster:

@Whooda: Wow, you're amazing to remember so much. How have you been able to retain your brain undamaged after all Stan's music? Never drove a Sprite, but the TR3 is a lot of fun due to the incredible amount of attraction it draws. You're quite right, it's getting close to the time of touring upstate with it. I took it to Vermont one year. Man, what a wonderful ride that was! Your brain must be totally undamaged to remember so much. I've had that car since 1975 and I've been working on it ever since.

HEHEHE
  4:43am
ALAN:

Where are you at Sonia, am in London, chillaxing after a nighshift in a railway station.
  4:45am
Sonia:

@ALAN, which station? Here's Russia around me.
Avatar 4:48am
CDToaster:

@Whooda: Is there a way for me (and I guess other listeners) to view the chrome bumper Midget you restored? I love looking at restored antique sports cars. People generally don't know how much work goes into it.
Avatar 4:49am
bibi:

@alan, my gf just came back fron nightshift as well. chilling for her now means deep sleeping.
  4:52am
ALAN:

soon enough for sleep. London Victoria is my station, half way thru 3 weeks of nights, then a week off.
  4:52am
Sonia:

@CDToaster: Obviously it is very laborious.
Avatar 4:54am
Whooda:

@CDToaster I am completely impressed. that is a long, long time to hold on to anything. How many wives have you had since 1975 (haha). That is just incredible. If you email me I can send photos. I sold the Midget while still in NC. I live in Johnstown, NY now and drive a rust bucket Nissan Sentra :( I spent the last few years resurrecting an Suzuki 1100cc road bike but sold it last year. Email suprabrew@hotmail.com Yes, that's Supra as in Toyota Supra, I had four of them.

I changed my Avatar to reveal the photo of the car which has been a topic of discussion, for all to see. Yes, it was quite laborious, taking me 39 years to complete. I now have more money invested in the car than what the car's worth! Stan, are you getting this? I want to take you for a ride to a beach on fire island one summer day.
Avatar 5:02am
Whooda:

@CD *I now have more money invested in the car than what the car's worth! * The definition of "A labor of love". Must get a bit of sleep now. Goodnight CD, Sonia, DJ Stan, Alan and bibi.
  5:05am
Sonia:

@CDToaster: Thank you, that's nice from your site. I've seen a larger version at your profile. 39 years! You are very consistent.
@Whooda: sleep tight)
  5:14am
Sonia:

DJ Stan, thank you for audio playlist.
  5:14am
ALAN:

eh yeah pretty much inbetween Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. Have you ever been to London
Avatar 5:17am
Andy in Berlin:

I had a TR3 when I was in my teens and it was a great car - except it was constantly in need of minor repairs. I had a friend who was really good at fixing cars and made a deal with him that he could drive around with me if he fixed the car every time something happened. That pretty much worked out. Also my car came with a crank! (was afraid to use it though:) )
  5:18am
Sonia:

@ALAN: yes, and Victoria is not my favorite place. I like buttersea, hampstead heath, angel.
Avatar 5:18am
CDToaster:

Goodnight Whooda; I sent more pix to you, personally. Hope you enjoy viewing them.
  5:22am
ALAN:

hope you manage to come again Sonia, Vitoria has theatres around it, Battersea is being re-built, I call it Chinaville, as only the Chinese have the money to buy the luxury apartments.
Avatar 5:24am
CDToaster:

Sonia, are you really in Russia?
  5:28am
Sonia:

@ALAN: What did they do to the power station? is it restored?
@CDToaster: Yes, I am. In St.Pete, it's 1.26 pm here.
Avatar 5:30am
CDToaster:

@Andy: Good to hear from you regarding your TR3. No, the car didn't come with a crank, per se, it was a tool for turning the motor without having to put your hands on the fan blades to make the timing and point gap adjustments. The compression ratio is way too high for any human to spin the motor fast enough to start. It was just for turning the engine during adjustments.
  5:33am
ALAN:

yeah they started to dig the foundations. The old power station will be the inner scantum of the richest apartments. Still aslong as air is free then I will be fine.
Avatar 5:37am
bibi:

stan, i want to starclick this protodrone. give the keyboard a chance, please.
Avatar 5:37am
CDToaster:

@Alan: I've been to London a couple times; stayed at the Collingwood across from Hyde Park. Took the Underground all around. Now I work for the MTA in the Surface transit division (Buses). So you work with trains and me with buses. We keep the people moving while Stan keeps our brains swirling! Loved the Londoners I met.
  5:41am
Sonia:

Dear Stan, I like this not rhythmic and amorphous music, noises, like now and at the very beginning of the show.
@ALAN I could not believe that( keep the faith!
  5:44am
ALAN:

well am falling asleep here, so you all have a good day. thanks for the chats.
Avatar 5:45am
CDToaster:

@Sonia: Wow, thanks for the time check over there. It is so wonderful and amazing that you could join us on Stan's journey as if you were right here in the New York/New Jersey area. Tell me, Sonia, how does someone from St. Pete's in Russia come to know about this radio station and DJ Stan?
  5:46am
Sonia:

@CDToaster: Thank goodness! We still have public transport) I don't even have driving license
  5:51am
Sonia:

Oh, thanks, CDToaster; I'm glad to join this wonderful radio. Well, I have a virtual friend in NY, who've recommended me the wfmu.
  5:53am
ALAN:

I found WFMU when I googled a somg I wanted to hear, Gypsy Girl by Cruella De Ville, I found it on Steve Allen's play list. Only station I ever listen to now.
