Cool! But why does everything by Inutili sound slightly overmodulated? Is that a gimmick or do they just need better equipment? Great tunes though.
  9:56pm
P-90:

Agreed: 'White Bicycles" is very well done, worth checking out by anyone who's into that subject.

Avatar 10:06pm

ive still never had a proper introduction to Jaco. though my head explodes every time i hear anything by him.
Avatar 10:13pm
Mdurek:

my odd Jaco favorite is a live version of "mercy, mercy, mercy" with weather report. I think he's wasted on something, but the fills are so subtle, so sweet and soulful and dynamic. :)
Avatar 10:17pm
Mdurek:

Nice reverb indeed. Almost sounds layered. Made me put in my headphones, Dave

Fake Beatles & people who thought real bands were the Bealtles. What a time!

I found a plastic toy raygun in a box of junk -- the kind that shoots small disks (in the '60s, they looked like Star Trek phasers, but now they don't -- and I'm looking for those little plastic disks so I can torment the pets. CANNOT find them anywhere!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30pm

OK, this is a VERY strange record.

"Female Convict 701: Scorpion" is a cult fave Japanese exploitation film from the early "70s that had a bunch of sequels, remakes, comic adaptations, etc.

@pss: Doesn't Amazon allow playing from The Cloud? Can you do that?

This has been a good show to make babaganoush by. (Of course I dropped the Sicilian eggplant onto the oven's bottom and made a terrible mess, but that just probably gave it more of a nice smoky charred taste.)
