Phillip in Brooklyn:

Why do you think I listen
  12:41am
King Dean:

is there a topic yet
  12:53am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

Wide awake! I'll never fall asleep on your show ever again:)
  1:03am
coalhard:

I have a mad scientist question and I think I know the answer--as we all know matter cannot be created nor destroyed but if you drop a nuke on a rat turd (don't try at home) is not that rat thing vaporized ?-yes but the atoms are not destroyed the matter is turned to plasma not destroyed FYI
  1:14am
coalhard:

Which may mean when we die we don't really stop to exist which aligns with this show!

Bill Zebub:

The mind is a result of the brain. When the brain decays, the particles disperse and carry on, but without what was you. Atoms you exhale shall enter lungs of many throughout the centuries, but none shall be you, even though they were of you.
  1:26am
coalhard:

Thanks @Bill Zebub I often wonder how fabulous your lab must be !
  1:57am
coalhard:

I have huge speakers and no neighbors here in West Virginia and I shake the trees outside. I think the trees like it !
  1:58am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

@coalhard here is a more simpler answer for you. Think if the brain as a giant ram chip and the blood flowing through it the power. When you turn off the power all the information/data on the ram chip is erased. But the energy the "divine spark of life" goes on to another person
  2:00am
coalhard:

There is a flaw in your answer half way through I think
  2:00am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

Still wide awake:)
  2:04am
coalhard:

did you know the average person spends 24 years of life sleeping===HOLY CRAP
Avatar 2:06am
fleep:

There are people who spend their entire lives sleeping.
  2:06am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

Sleep? What's that? I don't need sleep. Who needs sleep! I miss too much if I sleep and as my dead father once said "plenty of sleep when in dead"
  2:09am
coalhard:

There are people that claim they never sleep--I tried it once failed but still a good theory
  2:09am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

True @fleep my father when he retired on 1989 he slept away 14 years of his life until he died in 2003
  2:11am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

@coalhard I once had food poisoning back in May of 2006. Spent 4 whole days awake in the hospital ER.
No matter how tasty raw pink salmon is don't eat it!
  2:13am
coalhard:

WOW--the mind is still unexplored--glad your here friend
  2:17am
coalhard:

They can hook electrodes to the brain --but the mind is deep so deep
  2:18am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

I love the music professor dum dum plays! Can't find that kind of music anywhere but on wfmu.
  2:20am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

One day maybe 1000 years into the future it will be like on that movie "the matrix" where you can hook your brain up to a virtual reality that looks feels and tastes like it's real
  2:22am
coalhard:

you can find on xm radio but you have to pay a lot--wfmu needs money too we must help them when we can they take any donation even small--I am not spokesperson just a fan
  2:25am
Phillip in Brooklyn:

@coalhard I have Sirius xm. I have a hacked receiver where I get all the channels for free. And non of what they play compares to professor dum dum or my castle of quiet
  2:27am
coalhard:

ok--I agree wfmu has a museum load of music--yes the finest
Avatar 2:36am
fleep:

Maybe it is 1000 years in the future and we are hooked up to a virtual reality right now.
  2:38am
coalhard:

I work at a thrift store (owned and operated by a church) we get heavy metal records sometime--but they are yanked from my hands and broken in front of customers who cheer ?

We are still in dark ages in many ways where I live in west Virginia I am actually afraid for my life --getting bad here-they think Obama is the devil

In the supermarket last week, surrounded by bright lights and a glut of overprocessed food, the PA system started playing "Baker Street" and I wanted to swim out of there screaming. I find the Prof's music stimulating and soothing.
  2:47am
coalhard:

I think Iraq would be nice this time of year for a vacation
  2:51am
coalhard:

I am sick and tired of religious shit--I am and will always be an athiest
