Gary - If you google the title and PDF it should come up. Cope apparently felt the book was a fan's appreciation of the genre, written b/c there was no other info out there, and since the book came out better scholarship has been done. He felt his book was awkward and contained some misinformation. Personally I think it's a really interesting, enthusiastic, and opinionated take on the music. Very worthwhile.

In Southern California, there was once a unique record store devoted to imports: Moby Disc Records in Van Nuys. When it was a standalone store, it was amazing. During the '80s new branches opened in the southland, and it eventually became watered down.
