Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from October 28, 2014 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Coney Dogs are HUGE in Michigan. I don't really get why. They call them Coney Islands. And you can't go a block without a coney island restaurant. Usually owned by Greeks. I don't get it--it's not like Aristotle put chili on a hot dog or something.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm

Oh man next week is going to freaking rule... Chrome!

Avatar 5:18pm
Lopez:

@Mark - I went to a Coney Island walk-up place in Flint and got myself a dog. It was good but Rhode Island's New York System was better IMO. David Byrne worked at the original Olneyville location when he was a RISD student and co-opted his "Same as it ever was" karate chopping up his arm motion from how they stack the dogs up their arm while adding the chili & onions. Delicious, and $0.88 per when I was there
