Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm Charlie:

Hi everybody! Had to shovel this morning and am a little behind, so may lag on comments for a while. So please talk amongst yourselves. Have a canape and perhaps an aperetif.
Avatar 12:09pm bobdoesthings:

before checking that "source" link... I was convinced that was all cotton with good photographing lights and a bit of photoshop...
  12:10pm βrian:

@annie: "Data entry?" That's so meta.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm Goyim in the AM:

Nice to here ol' Ade before he went totally digital.

Avatar 12:24pm bobdoesthings:

My head is in all the clouds: cumulative, stratocaster, stirrup, etc.

Certainly the worst introduction ever.

Hiya, Charlie. Digging the show from down in Philly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Charlie:

Hi David Philly Detour!
  12:39pm Listening Out There:

Thanks for playing "You and the Night and the Music". I don't think I've ever heard the lyrics. I've heard jazz versions based on the melody, but never the words....
Avatar 12:39pm bobdoesthings:

@charlie - I love those stratocaster clouds.. especially the vintage ones with the older pickups
  12:41pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Clouds here in S Fla. Makes your show even better!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm Charlie:

catching up: hi to Artie, βrian, Annie (even if you're not here), Michael, Bob, bobdoes, Parq, Uncle M, Carmichael, Snortley, listening, Schmutz, and Kevin !
Avatar 12:46pm Roberto:

I detect some Khatchaturianic appropriation.
Avatar 12:50pm Carmichael:

This is produced via track separation? The drummer is in one speaker, and the rest of the gang is over in the other one.
Avatar 12:53pm bobdoesthings:

@carmichael - perhaps I'm not following what that means.. but in my right headphone I get vox too... ? I can hear some parts more heavily on one side than the other though but it still seemed mixed ..
Avatar 1:01pm Flash Strap:

Just dropped in! this is lovely
  1:01pm Listening Out There:

Ooh. Now we're getting to the processed cheese part of the program...

GIVE THE DRUMMER RADIO PROGRAMMING ALERT:
Fiveash is next: wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm Parq:

Tiny Tim is probably the most underrated non-mainstream musical performer ever. Dismissed almost universally (at least outside the FMUniverse) as a ridiculous novelty act, he was actually an erudite expert on vintage music and he was meticulous in putting his songs together. Laugh-In made him a star, but it also left a permanent mistaken impression of him on the minds of the public.
  2:02pm Listening Out There:

what Parq said. Sting backed him up once. Said TT knew a huge book of tunes...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm Doug Schulkind:

@Parq
Sometime I'll tell you about the time I "performed" with Tiny Tim.
  2:02pm Listening Out There:

Thx, Charlie!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm Brian in UK:

Bob Cratchet had a hard time too. Nice one Charlie.
