So the last Saturday of February has begun.
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:08am jeff-m:

hey Rich
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:12am rich:

hi jeff, hi jake, hi other listeners,

look here while listening: patperry.net
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:16am rw:

Still Friday here but we're a little behind the times in these parts.

Hello!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:21am JakeGould:

Nice imagery, rich. Detailed as well. But I am watching this in honor of Leonard Nimoy. www.youtube.com...
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:34am BriJet:

Ahoy hoy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:36am Ike:

Hey folks. Ever tried to steer your brain into a skid? Anyway, good sounds here.
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:36am rw:

Leonard Nimoy?! I hadn't heard. Sad. Funny YouTube clip though. I saw him in a parking lot once. It was difficult not to do the "Live Long and Prosper" thing. He must have heard that a LOT.
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:37am rw:

Ike I haven't but I will.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:38am Ike:

Woah, were those distant frogs in the Grouper song? Or have frogs taken up residence outside my upper-floor window in Sunset Park?
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:39am rich:

so you're a fan of distant frogs Ike?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:42am Ike:

That's such a Rich question. Yes, very much so. We could use a lot more distant frogs around here.
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:43am rich:

hearing live long and prosper a lot is better than hearing he's dead jim a lot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:44am Ike:

Rich, Indonesian bazaar in Woodside tomorrow?

  Sat. 2/28/15 12:45am rw:

True Rich. Now I'm a little sorry I didn't at least do the hand gesture as a wave.
Avatar Sat. 2/28/15 12:47am Mugsy:

Sounds great Rich. Greetings all.
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 12:48am rich:

ike, preparing premium for marathon tomorrow
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:55am P-90:

...of distant frogs, Vulcan salutes, and squirrel carcasses: Good morning, all.
  Sat. 2/28/15 12:56am Dean:

A cassoulet festival? I shall now officially kill myself.
Avatar Sat. 2/28/15 12:58am Peteski:

I'm down. Wait ... what are we doing?
Avatar Sat. 2/28/15 1:05am Mugsy:

Visual=excellent
  Sat. 2/28/15 1:06am Tamar:

You've got a nice show going. How's studio B?
  Sat. 2/28/15 1:08am snake:

My favorite Film board of Canada film was Neighbors ...but I don't believe there was any music ...and I remember another with clay sculptures & and a jazz trio ...but not sure who..
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:11am rich:

cozy
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:13am JakeGould:

“Or have frogs taken up residence outside my upper-floor window in Sunset Park?” Have you not seen what they sell on the street on 8th Avenue in Sunset Park? I mean they just found a pot farm under a Maraschino cherry factory in Red Hook. The odds of someone breeding frogs, turtles and other things in the basement of somewhere in Sunset Park are quite high.
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:14am rich:

neighbors is great as are most of Norman Maclaren's films, i really enjoy Begone Dull Care.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:26am Ike:

Yeah, down there, sure, but up here on my fire escape? Or in the nearby trees, or in another such place where I can hear them? I'm too far up to hear the basement frogs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:29am JakeGould:

Okay, fair enough. Maybe someone has roof frogs?
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:32am rich:

that someone would appear to be ike.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:34am JakeGould:

Honestly I’ve explored a lot of Bay Ridge and nearby Sunset Park since moving here a year ago: Pretty confident there are basements and lofts and apartments where people are just growing things.
  Sat. 2/28/15 1:39am Tamar:

Ike, maybe it's tinnitus.
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:43am rich:

i'd rather have roof frogs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:45am JakeGould:

I remember back in the 1980s when the police would bust guys up in Washington Heights for raising goats in the basement or their backyards.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:46am JakeGould:

Oh and as far as pot farms and Maraschino cherries go, this: www.dailymail.co.uk...
  Sat. 2/28/15 1:46am Tamar:

I'd rather have roof frogs, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:48am JakeGould:

Can roof frogs be a marathon premium?
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:49am rich:

too difficult to mail

Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:55am rich:

"...and never hops out" How could it ever hop out? it's like john travolta in the plastic bubble. there is no escape from tube-city.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 1:56am JakeGould:

I believe that there are subliminal messages sent the frog that says, “Wait here for the UPS guy…” And the frog just waits.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 2:01am JakeGould:

I feel like we watched that Toys short film on a rainy day in grade school.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 2:45am JakeGould:

rw, now I am watching that “Toys” film.
Avatar Sat. 2/28/15 2:46am the Canterbury wood-elf:

Morning Rich and everyone. I saw Deerhoof play in London two nights ago - amazing energy, jaw-droppingly good. I still can't figure them out but I love them.

And even Flavor Flav is touched by the passing of Mr. Nimoy: twitter.com...
  Sat. 2/28/15 2:49am rw:

JG, Viet Nam era propaganda film. The good sort of propaganda though. I'm glad I had the sort of teachers who would show films like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 2:51am JakeGould:

Great film. But like everything on YouTube the top comment is, “I felt uncomfortable as soon as I saw the military toys come out. A GIJoe IV drip?! I have a huge problem with the glorification of violence, especially where children are concerned.” What an idiot. glorification? If you watched that and want to go to war, you are nuts.
  Sat. 2/28/15 2:54am rw:

Okay, I'm done for tonight. Thank you Rich Hazelton! Have a good weekend everybody!
Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 2:55am rich:

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 2/28/15 2:59am JakeGould:
