The Madchester band Northside BLATANTLY ripped off "More than a feeling" on their song "Take 5" Like completely stole the riff. One of the most blatant rip offs I have heard.

Apparently Garbage had to get permission from Brian Wilson to use the line "Don't worry baby" in one of their songs on their second album, but Gorky's Zygotic Mynci didn't have any stories like that when they used the line "Then we'll be married and then we'll be happy" on their song Spanish Dance Troupe
