It was not a mistake at all, my good men, I just drunkenly pledged during Billy Jam last Friday. THANK YOU NIGHT PEOPLE!

In the late 60s-early 70s, the highways between NY and Connecticut were full of drunken college students returning home from NY bars, with occasional catastrophic results.

Nick the Bard:

How many times did they even use the demon voice in Teen Wolf? Just that one time?
  8:33pm
JakeGould:

“Teen Wolf” was such a turd of a film.

Peter:

Matthew Broadrick played the main character in Brighton Beach Memoirs too, when the play first ran.

Nick the Bard:

Teen Wolf was great, Teen Wolf Too was the turd one

n.b. people in that area pronounce it Bil-UH-xi, not Bil-AH-xi
  8:37pm
JakeGould:

@NicktheBard: You’ve got to be younger than me, since I was 17 when “Teen Wolf” came out and man… Screw that film… But respect your memories of it… I also think “Strange Brew” sucked and I like SCTV.
Avatar 8:41pm
Nick the Bard:

Yeh, i think I was like, 5 or 6 when it came out

I'm still holding out for the sequel "Home Brew" to see the light of day

Haven't got to catch Night People n a bit. Weird to hear while sun's still out...
  8:43pm
JakeGould:

@TominPA: I actually only saw “Strange Brew” for the first time this past year… I cannot even describe my disappointment… I’ve been watching old films I liked as a teen and most hold up. And even watching films I barely remember… But that film… Such a turd… “Strange Brew.”
Avatar 8:45pm
Nick the Bard:

These were supposed to be Home Brew figures, but they got released anyway (and thonk god I bought the damn things)

webster had a passageway through the clock. it took him to a room that was empty. once when the older boys broke into his house to rob it he went and hid in the secret room, but i'm pretty sure he got stuck or something. that webster!

@Jake the movie was a stinker. No need to turn a five minute sketch into a weird Hamlet clone
  8:56pm
JakeGould:

@TominPA: When I read that they strived to make it a “Hamlet” homage I could not believe it. Dave Thomas & Rick Moranis wanted to add more improv and pure craziness which would have worked. That opening film in a film, “Mutants of 2051 A.D.” was great! I loved that!
