Greetings DJ Amanda and all of the Nazaryan Nation.
Sorry to hear about the crappy weather in the Midwest, and not only because we tend to get your crappy weather here in the Northeast a few days after you do.
and THANKS @Amanda for so sweetly taking time to email the info about the puppy/duck photo spectacular from last week!

I used to drive my family NUTS playing my Where The Sidewalk Ends LP over and over and over...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm

I had it on cassette, and I'm sure I did the same, Greg. Though I remember listening on my walkman a lot, so it probably kept me out of their hair plenty, too.

Somehow, you knew Shel wasn't gonna get laid.
Avatar 12:39pm

not sure I like Nazaryan army as a collective name. Has a bit too much David Duke about it.

or even Nazaryan Nation, which is probably even worse.

Someone once told me that "amnaz" is a known abbrev on message boards for "american nazi"! I never got confirmation on it, but it made me VERY glad I spell it with two Z's.
  12:48pm
a listener:

EEK! Still trying to think of one now... AmNazzers ? NazScenesters? Nazaronios?

I sort of like "Nazarinii"

Oooh, MATCHING TIE. The LP had a hidden groove! Blew my tiny little teenaged mind.
  12:56pm
a listener:

AmNaz's Barmy Army?
  12:56pm
P-90:

I wasn't even thinking about am-naz when I wrote "Nazaryan Nation", I was just making a flip play on the movie title Aryan Nation, sorry if it creeped anyone out a little bit. We just have this running gag on FMU comments boards, we spontaneously coin punny names for the fans listening to each show....its a thing. You type "Hi [DJ] and the whole flock of [play on DJ name or show name]" and just try to think of a new one on the spot. Again, any insensitivity strictly inadvertent.

  1:01pm
a listener:

Yeah, it's cool P-90.
  1:03pm
P-90:

I like Nazarinii too, I did that one two weeks ago, the "Marc Anthony" show. Nazarinii sounds like an order of religious pilgrims or a benevolent race from Star Wars. "Nazaronios" is funny, it sounds like a school cafeteria pasta dish.
