It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly an antique phonograph appeared on the horizon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm dale:

are these all acoustically recorded? 1925 could be that other era.
  8:25pm Phil and Deb:

So now I know what "pusher" means!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm dale:

good to know it's not someone in blackface as 'coon' sanders.
  8:28pm Phil and Deb:

Always a great show, and Tony.. Great to hear you on the radio.

This Louis Armstrong guy isn't bad at all.
Avatar 8:46pm Erella:

I live in Toronto and apparently there is a good phonograph repair guy in my town. I have been meaning to have the diaphragm on my portable Thorens repaired. It would be good to learn more.

on amazon, too obviously - where i got mine with amazon points for free!
  5:33pm Bart1927:

Actally, the singer on "Red robin" is Irving Kaufman, not Arthur Fields. The Imperial Dance Orchestra is, in this case, a pseudonym for Sam Lanin's Orchestra.
