Good morning. Welcoming the sounds ethereal, uplifting, and bright.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36am
fred:

Good morning Jeffrey and listeners.
@annie: Pierre lives in Paris, but not in the part of the city where the attacks took place. And I don't think he would go to a show like Eagles of Death Metal

TheJBE:

I often find solace in Jeffrey's Saturday morning musical forays. This morning is no different. In fact, it's always a pleasant diversion from the "noise" of the world, especially all the mostly maddening social media chatter.

It was reading a Sharon van etten interview on the quietus site 5/6 years ago now that I first heard the acronym WFMU and all about this cool dj called Jeff Davidson who had taken her under his wing.
Googled WFMU,five years later still listening.......
Thank you Sharon van etten.

Hello Sem. Getting those pear trees into shape?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26am
Sem Chumbo:

Hey, CJ, BiUK. Yeah, on hiatus for a while.
A good year for the pears, Brian. The eau de vie bottled, just in time for the holidays ;-O

@Sem After our talk last Xmas on Bill's show I was given a bottle of EdeV with poive much to my surprise. Delish as Bertie might say.

Fred E. played here in Nova Scotia just last month, as always a must-not-miss.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40am

Saw Fred at our local village hall a couple of years ago, more jokes than songs. Good fun.

Roger, Gene and David really had something special when they harmonized like this, didn't they?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47am
Brian in UK:

Vera Lynn sang this song in WW11 to the troops. It was so odd to hear the Byrds perform it seemed so out of place, last track on LP as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49am
Brian in UK:

A jangly guitar and three part harmonies. Unbeatable. Groups are still trying to recapture this sound.

Sem Chumbo:

Morning, Bill. Heard about any fill-ins?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Bill. Why can't people all just get along? Like Ratty and Dusty. I assume those rodents are pals now.
Avatar 8:50am
Bill Mac:

Hey, Gents - no fill-ins at the moment but anything can happen once the holidays roll around. I was up to sing some Jonathan Richman at the Harsimus Cove Cemetery Halloween party a few weeks back. There's always a reason to do come North to do something station oriented.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57am
Guido from Cologne:

Hi Bill, looking forward to any fill in.
