As long as they are not humbedbugs, you're okay.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:37am Brian in UK:

Stanley, get half a pint of sweet sherry down your neck and that will sort you out.
By the way that bottle of 10% raspberry and shaved aardvark stout that you gave me went down a treat.

In my homeland, the Krampus Band also features a bagpipe and three Krampus kazooists.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:58am Andrew Waterloo:

It's like cats on the Internet or macaroni and cheese. Sure, but really? that much? SRSLY? still that much more?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:58am Brian in UK:

Sci Fi is tosh. The opening of shot the first film was as good as it got for me. These comments do not reflect the opinions of the management. She is still at work.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:59am Parq:

Star Wars isn't my thing, but it's way my daughter's thing, and I get a kick out of how much she gets a kick out of it. Oh, and that 1977 movie? You can't call it "Star Wars" any more. It's "A New Hope". Can you remember that?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:59am Brian in UK:

Is Krampus from Austria?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59am coelacanth:

i'd like to see that Krampus band.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:59am Andrew Waterloo:

@Artie Haywire
Krazy Krampus Kazooists? In your homeland? Naw!

@Andrew Waterloo
Cats are fine, but don't muck with my mac and cheese!

@Parq
My daughter, too! Last night, she spent about 90 minutes telling me the entire story from Episode One on. And when did this "A New Hope" business start? !
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:00am Brian in UK:

Waiting for a Loretta Young season on TV.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:01am Doug Schulkind:

This Dizzy Reece track is basically an Art Blakey Jazz Messengers session.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:02am Andrew Waterloo:

As far as I'm concerned "A New Hope" is geek trivia, not the name of the movie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03am coelacanth:

Artie, where's that homeland? my homeland has no Krampus band that i know of, of any instrumental denominations- let alone bagpipes and kazoos.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am Mike East:

I totally went through a star wars geek phase. I wanna see the new one, but definitely not on opening night the way I did when they released the inferior "special editions"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am Doug Schulkind:

It's all geek to me, Andrew Waterloo.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:04am Parq:

Doug, our kids and their peers have no sense of the six movies as a having come out one at a time. They saw the three from the 20th century all at once on home video as little kids, and the three so-called prequils they just grew up with. It's a single body of work to them. And as they see it, "Star Wars" is the over-arching name of the franchise, not the name of just one of the movies.
Avatar 10:06am annie:

@Brian: i've loved loretta young all my life... a real beauty.. and mat we poy that up with a Patricia Neal marathon, too?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:06am Andrew Waterloo:

I'm probably only seeing it because my friend got tickets to a special screening through her work. I'll be seeing it at 9am tomorrow though.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:06am Artie Haywire:

Tis a mythical, mystical place - deep in the sub-basement of the student center of a engineering/agricultural university on the fringes of Appalachia. We had only a single microphone and 3200 watt FM transmitter, but dammit we knew how to celebrate Xmas!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:07am Andrew Waterloo:

Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:18am Uncle Michael:

  10:19am Mr C:

Who was in Brute Force? I remember that Embryo was an Atlantic distributed label, was this a Joel Dorn project?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:19am Doug Schulkind:

The Call to Nature is a powerful thing. Especially when you drink as much seltzer as I do.

@Uncle Michael
Yup. This is NOT the Sit on a Sandwich folks.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:21am Uncle Michael:

Not "folks" but "guy," and thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22am Doug Schulkind:

Embryo was Herbie Mann's pet project label for Atlantic. Brute Force were a group of high school friends from the Dayton, Ohio, area. Their pal Sonny Sharrock (featured prominently on this record) appears on most of the tracks here. This was their only record. Here's some history: record-fiend.blogspot.com...

B) Should have kept his shirt on
