![]() |
![]() @sheilab pt. 2 - as was The Supremes 'Love Is Like an Itching In My Heart' -- that's a great 45, the flip 'He's All I Got' is also really really good. |

Wild Neil:
@Brian-not at all! Venison is kinda an acquired taste. This tastes exactly like Antelope (I read that-but also ate antelope!)...it is just like the best American beef you ever had like a filet mignon (maybe you have that in the UK?)...but BETTER...it is NOT NOT NOT like the skanky deer meet I tried five or six times...it is AMAZING... |

Folks, it's not all that hard. Lay = transitive. Lie = intransitive. I suppose it's possible he's addressing a chicken or other egg-laying entity, in which case "lay" could be appropriate. |

I'm liking the wispy folkish direction the show has taken the last 20 minutes or so..very beautiful stuff. It feels like there was so much loud electric stuff in the late 60s/early 70s, maybe people's souls needed a little acoustic soothing. Or something.

I came across a youtube clip of the Bee Gees singing "Blowing in the Wind" on British TV in 1963. I couldn't really finish it. Boy, was their hair short.
