Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

  8:05pm
P-90:

Oooh, in time to get a good seat. Howdy, sinner. Care to try the nice toddy I brought in my trusty flask?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06pm
sinner:

  8:09pm
JakeGould:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm

these seats are good and hard and uncomfortable - the kind of seat my sorry a$$ deserves.
Avatar 8:10pm
glenn:

Avatar 8:15pm

Avatar 8:19pm
glenn:

i told the amish joke.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm
dale:

my wife went to a black coworkers' baptist funeral in patterson nj last weekend - she said this is pretty much the same thing. at least some people celebrate life lost as opposed to getting all maudlin over lost life.
  8:20pm
JakeGould:

@glenn: I liked that one. But I have a lot of unchecked rage in my heart for the elephant joke.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:20pm
sinner:

Everyone knows you don't mix glenn with cooh john. It explodes.
Avatar 8:21pm
glenn:

it could be a pen bomb.
  Swag For Life Member 8:21pm
Lonely Planet Boy:

  8:38pm
P-90:

North Korea just recently perfected the Noodle Bomb. Years away from the Nude Bomb.
(except on bootleg VHS)
Avatar 8:43pm
glenn:

north korea couldn't find its own ass with a map and a flashlight.
  8:45pm
JakeGould:

Aren’t they preparing for root vegetable famine?
Avatar 8:47pm
glenn:

i'm pretty sure a country that can't afford to feed itself ain't going to be nuking too many other countries, and if they did, they'd be hooped on so many levels it's not even funny.
  8:50pm
IFisher:

There's always grass and tree bark for sustenance. I think of N Korea of an advanced form of the Trumpian state.
Avatar 8:50pm
Brother Ray:

[Raising a hand in witness]
Avatar 8:54pm
Brother Ray:

I gots Pepto on a IV drip.
  8:54pm
JakeGould:

Mark my words: Trump loses the U.S., but him and Dennis Rodman will head to North Korea to show them how to turn the whole country into a failed casino.
  8:54pm
loveless:

The hour goes by much too quickly!
Avatar 8:55pm
Brother Ray:

[shuffles slowly out the back...]
Avatar 8:57pm
glenn:

wfmu probably has a higher g.d.p. than north korea.
  Swag For Life Member 8:58pm
Lonely Planet Boy:

this is beautiful
  8:58pm
Hackensack Slim:

This is a truly fine piece of Music.

Cheers Reverend Nutt
  8:59pm
IFisher:

Loveless, I was just typing the same thing!

JakeGould, please tell me that we can achieve better than our erstwhile N Korean emissaries. I'm scared, really scared.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm
sinner:

This used to be my weekly outro tune for the first six years or so of my show.
