	8:58pm Lyle: Giorgio Moroder, there's a story. I was touring with Al Martino; this must have been back around '71. I believe we were in Positano,playing a small hall, perhaps 400 capacity. Our opening act was a young man who called himself simply, Giorgio. What I remember most about him was that he seemed to have a real penchant for Baby Ruth candy bars. He had several Babe Ruths on his keyboard, and he must have eaten at least four or five of them during his performance. Backstage, there were several unopened boxes filled with Baby Ruth bars in Giorgio's dressing room. Now, Al Martino had quite a sweet tooth himself, but when he reached to help himself to one of Giorgio's Baby Ruths, Giorgio slapped Al's hand away and gave him a brusque admonishment. "No! Don't touch! Those are mine!" Al dropped the candy bar and apologized profusely, but the damage was done. A few years later and a few pounds heavier, Giorgio made his mark in disco and electronic music. I have heard that his only child was named ... you guessed it. Baby Ruth Moroder. Someone told me that she is now the part-time bassist for A Flock of Seagulls, subject to her availability. Great show, Faye. The Mrs. and I are enjoying it here in Weehawken.
