Never mind, I called North Warren Regional High School and they cleared it up...I graduated in June of 1985...and started kindergarten at age 5 in 1972..all is in order with the universe now..oh yeah, Pylon, they were in Athens Inside Out...I saw this in the village near 4th street in the 80's...that was like so 20th century. They were really out there for back then as I was discovering this whole world of college radio and REMs colleagues.

Easy Rider was one of the first films to match music and film. Beatles notwithstanding. The Wasn't Born to Follow scene is spot on unlike a lot of the rest of the film. Looks dated now but in '69 I thought it was great.

someone was complaining on slate that the old chart system should come back so that an album can really be the "album of the year". I personally loved it when Sound Scan upended everything in the 80s. It reflected what people were actually listening to.
