Listener comments!

Lots of garage today. Love it!
Avatar 3:42pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- oh, right there in the NuggetsII booklet: Perry Como did 'Glendora' in 1956, 10 years before Downliners Sect...
Avatar 3:45pm Mailman Tom:

Perry Como had an astounding 55 charted hit singles during his career!
  3:48pm Al:

Home, epicenter, GROUND ZERO, mother ship...
Avatar 3:57pm Mailman Tom:

The Mothers of Invention covered this song on their first album
  4:10pm biscuit-bob:

The Cookies ("Chains") sang back-up on Little Eva's "Locomotion," so likely that was them on "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby." Web says Eva occasionally recorded on Cookie songs.
Avatar 4:15pm Mailman Tom:

Little Eva worked in a fast food joint after her singing career ended.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm Layet Johnson:

I'm liking this. Could it be the new Yo La?
  4:35pm biscuit-bob:

Eva Narcissus Boyd: "Narcissus" is another name for "daffodil" . . . singing "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby," when Eva's guy beat her. (Inspiring King/Goffin to write the Crystals song "He Hit Me (It Felt Like a Kiss)" . . . . The woman singing lead for the Castaways is a guy. Bill Kelly's perfect rock song.
  4:36pm noel:

the 1960 original
Avatar 4:45pm geezerette:

love the lightness of this music. Makes life seem so simple and optimistic. Definition of POP?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm Layet Johnson:

Avatar 5:02pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
