Avatar 8:40pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

What is the name of that Jerry-ish effect adds automatic wah-wah like that? I basically agree w/ UM...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm
Uncle Michael:

Envelope Follower is the effect. Best used on Estimated Prophet and that guy in the New Bohemians.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm
Scott McDowell:

:)
Avatar 8:44pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Cheers. (Love Jerry but sometimes it annoys...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
Uncle Michael:

The thing is, after he got to know it...Jerry basically used that effect on one song.
Avatar 8:45pm
Scraps:

Just got home after one of my roommates yelled at his wife and wouldn't stop, so I had to split. (If you're wondering why I didn't intervene, past scenarios indicate no, and she doesn't want it either.) So i missed much of Scott, which pisses me off yet further, grrr.

Music helps! With headphones, yeah

I really liked that S/T Rick Danko album. I remember seeing him tour that stuff. I saw him open for Boz Scaggs in Lincoln, NE in '79.

On the other hand, I got to spend Monday afternoon shopping with my once-a-week helper, who is a Muslim refugee from Iraq and fascinating. Arguing cheerfully from a guy who comes from a very different background.
  8:54pm
Mark R:

I believe that was the album he was working on at the end of "The Last Waltz," Michael--you know, when he's giving Scorsese a tour of Shangri-La and they listen to a playback?
  8:54pm
Jeff g.:

What school was in that YLT vid - rock school?
Avatar 8:54pm

Anyway. This is an awesome Long Rally, as usual!

  8:56pm
Jeff g.:

Hey @UM! How was Boz live? Did he move around much?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
Uncle Michael:

Yeah, I saw him twice around then...the first time was at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago with Southside Johnny opening. Boz was in his sexy Silk Degrees period and he worked it.
  8:58pm
Jeff g.:

Thanks, Scott!
