I was about to say that I met her when I was a little kid, but then I realized I was thinking of Mary Wicks. A thrill nonetheless!

"I Hate Rabbits" is perhaps the greatest rock & roll song based on the misadventures of one-shot Warner Bros. cartoon character Cottontail Smith!

The Decades Network airs "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" They aired an episode with Joey Bishop. The joke everyone was making was that Joey Bishop never smiled

Antenna not only shows THE JOEY BISHOP SHOW but also the rarely seen '60s radio hosts show, GOOD MORNING WORLD. Has a pre-LAUGH IN Goldie Hawn in the cast.

  2:39pm Stuart Rose:

The riff that plays over and over on this one sounds like the opening of Walk, Don't Run.
  2:42pm HIGHBALL HANK:

It was announced in September 1954 that the Robins had been signed by Universal-International Pictures to make a film short entitled "The Robins Sing".

In it, the group (backed by Leighton Noble's orchestra) lip synched to two songs: "I Must Be Dreaming" (which had already been recorded for Spark, but not yet released) and "Loop De Loop Mambo".

Their singing was accompanied by some pathetically uncoordinated dancing. In spite of the film's title, those were the onlytwo songs they did.

The rest of the film contains vocals by Fred Darian and dance routines by Georgie Tapp.

Filmed around November 1954, this extravaganza was released on January 17, 1955.
