Favoriting March 28, 2017: BENJAMIN WALLFISCH (A Cure For Wellness)
British-born/Hollywood-based Benjamin Wallfisch guests on Morricone Island to discuss and listen to his most recent creepy score for Gore Verbinski's psychological horror thriller "A Cure For Wellness," the soundtrack for which has been released on 180g pearlescent white vinyl by Milan Records. Benjamin was jointly nominated this year by the Golden Globes with co-composers Hans Zimmer and Pharrell Williams for their score to "Hidden Figures." His soundtrack career began in 2004 scoring Dogme-95 co-founder Thomas Vinterberg's "Dear Wendy," written by Lars Von Trier which led to a long term collaboration working as an orchestrator for Italian composer Dario Marianelli.
