I used to get groceries at the Bill Sears in Odessa -- and Green Stamps! I still have and use the red Igloo cooler my girlfriend and I acquired with the stamps in about '83. I assume the Bill Sears has not lasted as long.

Was talking to someone who's barely 30ish the other day about his interest in vintage soul and history and small labels. And I was warmed and reassured about the persistence of the music's appeal.
