Re your theme music, there's a passage that all the lyrics listings give as, approximately, "I wanna dance [inhale], I wanna dance [inhale]," etc. To me it sounds like, "I want a big hug, I want a big hug...," which makes me go, "Awwww, so sweet." Anyone else hear "big hug" instead of "dance" followed by a gasping inhalation?

I'm a new New Jerseyan too, living in Sussex Co., flanked by dairy farms & across the road from Gardens of the World, but you needn't go this far in NJ for gorgeous parks -- and I'm not even counting the LITERALLY GORGE-ous one (Paterson Falls) they visited last week. Pyramid Mtn. Park has great hiking & vistas, and it's just outside Parsippany. For that matter, Eagle Rock is great if for no other reason than its view of the NY skyline.

Daddy gave Mother a stuffed donkey, J.A. Elmer (J.A. for Jackass) when he was courting her. He kept Elmer away from us kids until we were grown enough not to play with it as our own, i.e. roughly. Then I gave Elmer back to Daddy after Mother died and he'd remarried. His new wife tried machine washing Elmer; no good! But I think there's some symbolism there.

Our farm had some hay and alfalfa. As a kid, it was the funnest thing ever to bounce around in the stack frame while Dad & Grandpa dumped hay into it. Later, he bought a Hesston thingy to pull behind the tractor. Eventually, I was old enough to operate it. It would pop out stacks that looked like big bread loaves.
