Once at the ATL airport, he was coming down the LONG escalator (if you've been there you know, it's like the length of a football field), about 20 feet or so behind a friend of mine and her son, who is a big fan. She caught his attention, motioned for him and he STEALTHILY (in her words) crept DOWN the escalator, snuck up behind the boy and of course, tapped him on the shoulder and said something like "excuse me, do you have the correct time?" HE FREAKED. They all laughed their asses off and once again, he proved how awesome he is and how EASY it is to make someone's day just by doing a small, kind thing.
	♥ 10:23am The Oscar: @Itzall That's awesome. When he was a Celtic a few years ago he basically became a local character around Boston. I remember at one point he was doing some sort of "living statue" routine in the Pit in Harvard Square. Dude just seems to be a sincerely lovable human.

Shaq is also a part investor in the only movie theater in Newark, CityPlex 12 on Springfield Avenue. It’s an awesome joint. The AV system is called ShaqDX and each movie opens with a pre-recorded video of Shaq sitting on a stool admonishing the audience to be quiet. “Your mama raised you better than that!” He’s also got a small stake in a building going up on the site of the old Science High School. And he'll still shout out "GEORGIA KING VILLAGE!" at his appearances.
