Threemoons:

Heyo. Just got back online; of course TWC chose TONIGHT to reboot my modem remotely. Good thing I wasn't on an MMORPG raid...grrrrr...
Avatar 12:32am
karankeeone:

Just what the heck are we listening to???? Play some decent music, please. Thanks!
  12:33am
JakeGould:

I like spoken word and support any DJ who plays it.
Avatar 12:33am
mark1981:

Hey karankeeone: you wanna listen to decent music, eh? I've got more than decent poetry tonight and likely less than decent music. But never decent anything, I promise!
Avatar 12:34am
mark1981:

thanks JakeGould! Glad yr diggin it!!

Anyone wanna come over and help me fold a mountain of T-shirts? My closet had a crapalanche this morning...
  12:38am
JakeGould:

Sure. Where are you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38am
Threemoons:

Astoria. My place is a hot mess though, be warned....
  12:40am
JakeGould:

Nah. I changed my mind. Fold your own shirts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am
Threemoons:

aaah you are so mean....otoh maybe you are just not cool enough to look upon the amazing eclecticness that is my Tshirt collection... ;)
  12:41am
matt:

WOO MARK V WOOOOO
  12:42am
JakeGould:

I’m a minimalist. I practice KonMari and only hold onto what brings me joy. Tossed lots of stuff out. Makes my small place seem larger.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43am
Threemoons:

You should have seen how much crap I tossed when I moved into this place....including loads of old T-shirts.
  12:43am
JakeGould:

The U.S. overproduces t-shirts. Where can’t you get a t-shirt in the U.S.?
  12:44am
JakeGould:

T-shirts and mugs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49am
Threemoons:

I actually collect odd art T-shirts. It's not a rando thing. And I wear em all...and when they are done with their lives they become cleaning rags. Mugs I let go of a long time ago; this is aided by the fact that I am a klutz and mugs have a way of 86ing it onto my slate floor and shattering so there's an element of natural clutter control going on there...
  12:50am
JakeGould:

Ahhh… I still like mugs. But I filter through them. I sometimes find nice mugs all over the place so I am always upgrading my mugs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Mark V and inflated carcass warmers. Thanks for the fill-in tonight.
  12:50am
JakeGould:

Oh, and on topic… I like “bite sized” poetry pieces like this. So thanks!
Avatar 12:53am
mark1981:

sorry i've not been able to follow this discussion re: shirts and mugs but, from the looks of it, it's real poetic like...
Avatar 12:53am
karankeeone:

I hear you, mark1981! Have a good night!

WaveyDavey:

I was listening and thought the voice was Isabella Rosalini. So I pulled up the playlist on my computer. Imagine my surprise. Like mother like daughter.
  12:54am
JakeGould:

@Threemoons: Cool on the art t-shirts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54am
Threemoons:

I now feel inspired to write a spoken word piece on the topic of T-shirts, coffee mugs, Maria Kondo, and existential angst.
  12:55am
JakeGould:

I really like Marie Kondo. But breaking up with her might be awkward.
Avatar 12:57am
mark1981:

please feel free to write yr poem here and I'll be happy to read it out loud...no matter bite-sized or nugget-sized or cupholder-sized or big gulp-sized etc etc etc etc!!
  1:00am
JakeGould:

I’m sorting through tons of pics right now—digital KonMari—and I think this sign I snapped a pic of makes for decent poetry:

“Padlock No Refund!
I do not allow group of kids: No more than 2 or 3 please.
Thanks,
By Owner”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02am
Threemoons:

1 AM
Pile of T-shirts on my bed
Computer singing to me
Knowing I'm going to bed too late to do anything useful in the morning
Typing away, trying to avoid more folding
Because the more I fold, the more I have to put away in my bulging closet
So I derp around on the Internet instead....
  1:03am
JakeGould:

Another sign:

“Mail Man - UPS
Please Ring the Four Bells
1-2-3-4
Thank You

No Flyers Circulars Menu”
