I play music that is old and that is new. Some of it is digital while some is analog. It is from many different countries; sometimes it is loud and at other times it is quiet.

Hi Sam! I should change my show description to that. "Perfect soundtrack for assembling furniture."

Flash Strap!!! Hellos!!!!!

@Sam Segal: Your show isn't in my listening hours, so I'm glad for the opportunity to thank you for last year's premium. I listened to it many times

Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Mayuko and verts. That's a nice picture from the Cassini mission. This time next week, it'll be but a wisp of ashes floating among the clouds of Saturn. saturn.jpl.nasa.gov... [tear emoji]

@Flash Strap Joe McGasko suggested I should check out Plantasia a year or two ago, and I loved it!
Avatar 12:22pm

Happy Saturday to you too, rbrt! It always feels really nice to spend Saturdays here on the radio with all of you.
Avatar 12:24pm
Mayuko:

@fred haha! I've got Sun Ra ready for sure.
Avatar 12:26pm
Mayuko:

I think Sun Ra was from one of the moons with water, not the Saturn itself. Cos those two moons have the bigger chance of having lifeforms right?

Kinda like I say I'm from Tokyo when I actually grew up in Saitama (a place next to Tokyo that is internationally unknown)

that godley-creme track widened my eyes back in the day.

Godley and Creme were from the band 10 cc even more idiosyncratic, but I first heard them on a commercial station in Key West. Nick Cave song Rings of Saturn may be a reference to the W G Sebald book (it may not be). I enjoyed today's show as always Mayuko
