On Saturday I went to the annual NYC All-Day Sacred Harp Singing. There was a part where people were calling out names of the dead and then we sang a very lovely song blessing them. It was nice. Not Wm's usual type of music but he had such an all-encompassing appreciation for and knowledge of different types of music that I think he would have liked it. I hope so anyway.

I've been trying to remember the name of "Some Fantastic Place" for years. So glad you played it. I first heard it in the Squeeze documentary, cited as their favorite song they had written, but I couldn't remember which song it was.

@djsheilab: Happy Birthday, Sheila... We hope you have a wonderful day and you hear from everyone who's important to you. It was on your 10th birthday that Hurricane Hugo destroyed St. Croix in the U.S.V.I. with 208 mph winds, at the time, the worst natural disaster ever to hit the U.S. So your birthday falls on a famous day in U.S. history, in case you didn't know.
