Yes, Listener Robert, we need dough, lots of dough, and we need it now. FMU is usually is some kind of financial bind.
To all listeners: If you haven't pledged, even a small amount, please do so now. If you know someone else who also loves FMU, or would appreciate what we do, please contact them today and ask them to tune in and contribute also. Thanks!

Brian in UK:

Hello Jeffrey. Interesting that you followed The Weather Station with Joni Mitchell.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40am
Jeffrey Davison:

Partly happenstance, really. I just came across the Mitchell CD and I know that Tamara has been compared to Joni.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45am
Brian in UK:

She is coming over here in January so I might try and see the band. Trouble is that London audiences are so bluddy cool that they talk all the way through.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51am
Jeffrey Davison:

Brian,
That's disappointing to hear. One of my pet peeves regarding the music club world: people talking during the set. Even loud music deserves your attention, so people chattering is definitely a distraction. During sets of quiet music, unforgivable. The other major peeve is the clubs not listing set times. wtf
