Oh those type of Lizardmen. Go watch the new show on cable "Terror in the Woods" and you'll think twice about going hunting for things like Bigfoot or Lizardmen in the woods. Ghosts are bad enough.

melinda:

Not personally, but the person who started the cryptozoology museum here in Portland ME might be a source.
  7:46pm
Emily:

Oh, definitely! Thanks for that lead, @melinda! We'll look into that. I think that'd be a great show.
  7:47pm
Listener Robert:

I was friendly with John A. Keel, who knew at leasst one prominent cryptozoologist. But Mr. Keel, "Not An Authority On Anything", died years ago.
  7:51pm
Listener Robert:

John himself, while acknowledging that cryptozoology could come up with many finds, thought it would not solve cases of things like the Loch Ness Monster. He thought it more likely such things were trans-dimensional manifestations that existed only transiently in our 3-space, citing ecologic reasons for thinking they could not be supported by the environments in which they were sighted.
Avatar 7:53pm
kimzilla:

@ Listener John, wow, that's really interesting!

For me, no lizard man story would be complete unless there was some mention of Pee Wee Herman's line in a Cheech & Chong movie: youtu.be...

For me, no lizard man story would be complete unless there was some mention of the creature of black lagoon from Sunrise Theatre (1960s early Saturday morning TV)
