PULL!
  3:22pm I'm Hardrock - I'm Coco - I'm Joe:

As a prelude to producing terrifying monsters for "The Outer Limits" and "Star Trek," special effects wizard Wah Chang created a stop motion animation to "The Three Dwarfs," a Stuart Hamblen tune pitching some trio of Santa's elves, for Hill and Range Songs. This creepy Krampus counterpart became a Christmas-time tradition on Johnstown, PA and Chicago's WGN TV.
BTW, Hill and Range Songs owned half of Elvis' music publishing rights, plus a majority of Nashville's 1950s and 1960s country song publishing. Cowboy singer Stuart Hamblen's 1949 invitation for Billy Graham to guest on his LA radio show propelled the evangelist's crusades to fame while resulting in the hard-drinking, fast-living songster's religious conversion. Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm sang his devil-excoriating "Open Up Your Heart (And Let the Sunshine In)" on a Flintstones episode.
Below are links for the animation, a critique, and Wah Chang's contributions to "The Outer Limits" and "Star Trek":

The Last White Christmas is my favorite Xmas song.
Avatar 4:53pm Jeezy:

Those Xmas Time in Jersey guys are gonna get in BIG trouble... It's The Mall at Short Hills, not the Short Hills Mall!
  7:54pm Bill Kelly:

Nirvana parody: Dr. Dyke & the Cinnamon Cowboys (see above)
  7:55pm Bill Kelly:

Jeezy: We always called it the Short Hills Mall when I grew up 1/2 mile from there.
  1:25am John from CDA:

The members of the Empty Hearts are Wally Palmar (the Romantics), Elliott Easton (the Cars), Andy Babiuk (the Chesterfield Kings), and Clem Burke (Blondie).
  1:55am John from CDA:

"Last White Christmas" is just one of many reasons why I often am nostalgic for my days as DJ for college station KUOI. So much excellence!
  10:58am bk:

John from CDA: I knew about the lineup. I just try not to blather too much info at all times because it can become redundant to the most loyal and knowledgeable listeners, as you seem to be.

I've listened to this Christmas show 10 times now & still haven't had enough. I can't get enough!
  10:02am Computer tip: CONTROL + z = undo:

In the event of typing a long email, a long word document, or a playlist, and if suddenly all your work inexplicably vanishes, your fingers may have inadvertently hit some DELETE ALL shortcut keystroke combination. When this happens, simultaneously hit CONTROL + Z, the keystroke UNDO shortcut to restore the work deleted. You'll probably need to do this several times, as when your work vanished you began hitting other keys, which keystrokes now need to be undone first. Or, if you began retyping the whole thing that vanished, you'll have to hit CONTROL + Z to untype all that first to restore your previous work that was deleted. And there may be a limit of how many keystrokes can be undone.
10:02am in the spirit of Little Roger and Michael Lynch:

A big novelty hit in 2017 was "Smells Like Herb Alpert" - Power Salad, Nirvana done in the style of the Tijuana Brass. (There's a YT video) Free download link:

  10:23pm BK:

Computer tipper: I appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, I'm a Luddite, having been dragged kicking, screaming, clawing at the rug and pissing myself into the information age in my mid-40's. I'll try to remember all of this before I do exactly what you described again.
