Hi coelacanth∅
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:13am zenkoan:

great choice to open the show
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:22am northguineahills:

@coel: It was in your DNA to clicky star the Byrds!
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:25am northguineahills:

Eight Miles High is a fave of mine, but I wasn't here to fave it.
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:29am PNW THC:

another great show so far! this acanthus band sounds a lot like floyd
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:33am coelacanth∅:

ngh i'm not much a byrds fan, but there are some songs i really love, 8 miles high being one; but i don't clickystar songs except to try to bookmark them, and all of us know the studio 8 miles high by now.
...i'd think it more in m y dna to clickystar "will to love" by neil young though! ("like an ocean fish who swam upstream"etc)
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:35am coelacanth∅:

(...to be clear on the byrds - i really love some; i really can't stand some; and there's much of them i haven't heard)
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:35am rw:

  Fri. 1/12/18 12:37am rw:

When I was in college I had the first three Byrds albums on a tape in my car that went around and around for months and I never got sick of it. I was a little surprised because it seemed like the kind of thing I'd get sick of. Never did though.
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:38am coelacanth∅:

hey rw
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:41am rw:

How's it going coelacanth?
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:41am coelacanth∅:

i think if anything the first 3 will be my 3 favorites, after i listen to all of them (again - or that i haven't heard) losing David Crosby didn't do 'em any good, from what i can tell.
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:45am coelacanth∅:

i don't want to hear any of their "country rock" albums through again; and i'm not a fan of their Dylan covers, except "you ain't goin' nowhere", which is extraordinary. but i've heard enough of their early stuff to know i want to listen to the first few albums, at least, again.
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:46am coelacanth∅:

...and, okay -howz about you rw?
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:46am coelacanth∅:

love this LKJ!
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:53am zenkoan:

RIP Grant Hart
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:54am rw:

I'm good, thanks! Not as overwhelmed as normal. Plus this radio show.
  Fri. 1/12/18 12:55am rw:

I mean as usual.
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 12:57am coelacanth∅:

haha right! when you accept it as normal then you're in the rut.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/12/18 12:58am Fuzzy:

F the CC -- safe harbor says I can hear Husker Du in this shithole without the haphazard censorship.
  Fri. 1/12/18 1:03am PNW THC:

Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 1:03am coelacanth∅:

ohhh, i thought my laptop was spazzing out! i was about to reboot it before. yeah the fcc has already overstepped their authority. (AND it's safe harbour time)
  Fri. 1/12/18 1:14am ?:

Wait a minute, is that what that was?!? Auto-censor???
Avatar Fri. 1/12/18 1:17am Andrew S:

every time i tune into this show im wasted. thats nothing to be proud about but the music sure hits the spot
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/12/18 1:22am mauri:

I wake up to the show and it vitalizes me!
  Fri. 1/12/18 2:03am Nick Name:

not too sure if that was censorship, i could be wrong, it's on the recording but as Fuzzy mentioned it's haphazard, in fact a really lame editing job which leads me to believe its just glitches in the recording as the only curse is 'Pissed' , but thats not a curse, right?
  Fri. 1/12/18 2:12am BEAVO:

I’m actually listening from the future as I’m currently asleep. Great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/12/18 2:24am osvi:
