Back in 1979, I made the decision to accept Dr Demento as my personal savior. Since then, with the help of his apostles Spike, Al, Stan and Black-Eyed Susan Brown, I have made it my mission to spread the Gospel of the Firesign and the Word of the Waller. Please join me and my fellow seekers as we find the Wisdom we crave and the Rapture we deserve. A new sermon every Tuesday (and NO collection plate!).

This is one of the best podcasts ever. It captures the exact enthusiasm of a classic disjocky of the 60’s. The shows I had to discreetly listen to with my transistor tadio under my pillow. Radio was great. Full of imagination.

Wow! Thank you! Grew up with Cousin Brucie and Murray the K under my pillow. Could say it left a mark. Thanks for listening and especially enjoying it~!

Gene Shepherd was a great comic storyteller. I don't know where he can be found these days (not here in Maine anyway). His stuff would be too long for me to put on this show. not that I might not try ...
