I have some field recording of the Greenpoint sewage processing plant from the banks of Newtown Creek and it includes barge traffic and in the distance there's salvage yard in the distance. Oh, and there was about 8"s of snow at the time (I took it right before I left).

So a little while ago David played something by Fat Knuckle Freddy and mentioned he was from my town, which caught my attention but the name's unfamiliar. In unrelated activity, I was just checking the website for a downtown event I helped with last year, and on the short list of musical acts that day was...Fat Knuckle Freddy. A close finger of coincidence.

I may have told this story before but I was once walking down a country road past a field when I heard what had to be a large bird, but it really sounded like a person imitating a bird. So I pictured someone hiding on the other side of the field behind some trees, pulling a joke.
